Here you can fish in the fjord that is icy 6 months a year, go mountain hikes in the nearby area or drive into Tromsø which takes about 30 minutes. Cozy cabin with SAUNA (bathhouse) 6 km north of Lyngseidet city center. The cabin is a total of 49 sqm and is suitable for 3-4 adults or a small family. The cabin contains: living room, toilet/shower, kitchen and 3 bedrooms. Storage room: inside the storage room there is a washing machine - Large porch with barbecue facilities overlooking Lyngenfjorden. (wood or charcoal is not included in the price) - The cabin should be left in order and tidy. - Used bed linen and towels MUST be removed and placed in the laundry basket.

The area has fantastic views of the Lyng Alps, with opportunities to see the northern lights in winter and the midnight sun in summer. There are good hiking opportunities in the immediate area. Popular mountains for randonees. From the property you can go directly up to Storhaugen. Sorbmegáisá is also nearby. Short distance to other mountains. Wood fired Sauna and grill hut. Bicycles, snowshoes. Beds are fully made.

Lyngen Alps, Storhaugen, Blåvatnet, Lyngen Staircase are easily accessible. There are also good fishing spots nearby. If you have an accident, the doctor on call can be found 17 km from Birtavarre.
