You will stay in a comfortable, fully furnished holiday home. The house is next to our own house and has its own entrance. You have your own enclosed terrace with sufficient privacy. In the immediate vicinity there is a good chance that you will see deer or a kingfisher. The location is in a natural environment with ample walking and cycling opportunities. Larger cities are easily accessible, Leeuwarden 30 minutes, Groningen 40 minutes. There is a direct bus to Heerenveen with, among others, ice stadium Thialf.
“A beautiful location with a great view of nature. The cottage was super clean, and everything was there. You can't imagine it if it was there. We had taken some things with us, but that turned out to be superfluous. Thanks for the nice days, and as far as we are concerned you will see us again. Greet Teuny and Cor.”
Jubbega lies between the larger places of Heerenveen and Drachten. Our Bed and Breakfast is located at the edge of the village. An ideal place for rest seekers. The room is located on the first floor and is accessible via a separate entrance. The contemporary furnished room has 2 single beds, a seat, a fridge, TV and has a private shower and toilet. Breakfast is included and, if desired, a snack can be used in consultation. Also bicycles for rent.
“Rarely do you come to a place where you will be welcomed with open arms and where you can relax in a cozy, luxurious room with many thoughtful details and fine amenities. My stay with Anne and Greetje was short, but long enough to experience that this is a wonderful, warm place that I would like to return to. Thanks!”
This detached house with living room with 2 terraces and on the 1st floor bedrooms, bathroom and toilet. It is located on the turf route, on the edge of Oorts Mersken. In the corridor on the upper floor there is a box bed for 2 people. We live in the other living room. Each has its own entrance. Directly from the house you can walk, use the canoe and bicycles, 2 of which with an adjustable saddle. There are also 2 cards ready for you to play tennis less than 5 minutes by bike.
“I chose this property because I wanted to relax for a few days and want a table for my sewing machine. My decision was spot on! The large living room is flooded with light and offers a wide view of the fields. It is dominated by a 3m long wooden dining table that seats 8-10 people. The kitchenette is in the back. I didn't miss anything about the kitchen. On the large glass front there is a sofa and 2 armchairs - wonderfully comfortable with a great all-round view. For me that was the epicure. Terrace and garden are certainly another highlight in warmer seasons. In the evening, the living room can be well lit from several light sources from bright to cozy. Artistic hangs on the walls and an old wooden cabinet also adds to the cozy atmosphere. I didn't use the TV, but I did use a CD player (it also has a radio function). It's funny old-fashioned, but has a good sound. In the main house on the first floor there is a bathroom with shower and a separate toilet. I didn't miss anything here either. There are several bedrooms. I chose a small cozy room with a double bed with a great view of the sunrise. I slept wonderfully. Marry and Theo are very kind hosts who care about the well-being of their guests. I felt very well.”
