The Value of Hidaard

At De Terp van Hidaard, you will stay in the stylish front house of our old farm, with its own entrance and amenities. Our house has a spacious kitchen-diner and 2 bedrooms with private bathrooms. If you book for 2 people, you will get the ground floor, i.e. the kitchen and 1 bedroom. If you want to use 2 bedrooms, you must book for at least 3 people. Wake up to the sound of birds singing, panoramic views and the cozy warmth of the wood-burning stove.

The Optimist - 5-person vacation home

The Optimist is one of the two houses we have. The Optimist has 2 bedrooms with 2 beds each. There is a sofa bed in the loft. The Optimist is located on open water and from the terrace you can sail to the Sneekermeer within 10 minutes. Cycling and hiking are also ideal here. Sneek and Joure are nearby and are very popular for shopping. There are many museums in the area. Parking is free on site and there is a charging point for electric cars.

Spacious waterfront apartment

Our upstairs house is wonderfully spacious, sunny and equipped with all conveniences. From the living room, with its large dining table for 8 people, you can enjoy the view of the beautiful Frisian farmlands and passing boats. On the edge of Sneek, it is a wonderful base for enjoying Friesland and its waters. You can moor your own boat in our harbour or hire a 6-8 person boat from us or one of our neighbours on the watersportsboulevard 't Ges.

Sleeping with the sheep & a whole herd of horses.

Waking up overlooking the dining room of a herd of horses living in freedom, 2 pigs making their bed every night in front of the window and sometimes a sheep walks by. Closer to the pure things in life. Therefore, there is no WiFi and no TV. There is a large table to play games together and a lovely sofa to drink a glass of wine together. This cozy hiking cabin is located on the green and quiet grounds of Camperplaats Pontdyk, ideal for hikers, cyclists and nature lovers who want to spend a comfortable night in the middle of the Friese Meren area. The cabin is sheltered among the greenery and has its own veranda with seating, so you can enjoy the tranquility and the outdoors. The hiking cabin has a warm, cozy atmosphere and is practically furnished for a pleasant stay.

This uniquely located workers' cottage, dating from 1908, is located at the rear of Sneek's historic central station. You can walk to the supermarket within 1 minute and within 5 minutes to the center of Sneek with cozy terraces, shops and restaurants. When you check in, you can take a key to the house from the key box at the bottom left by the front door, and the entire property will be at your disposal!
