the chalet is in a beautiful location . I believe that in the summer the property can be used even better. the only things we feared were the beds(mattresses), but in the end, we had a great night's sleep. Great place to stay.

We had a very nice stay at the place. The house is very quiet and secluded, just right if you want to relax and rest. But it is also close to surrounded national parks, ski resorts and places for a trip. Listing is exactly as described and as shown in pictures. Everything was there for cooking, the living and dining area was very nicely equipped and the bedroom overlooking the trees very nice. Outside there is a terrace that invites you to sit outside in warm temperatures and a jacuzzi if you want to be used. We would definitely return!

Very beautiful view on the mountains. The place is in very good condition, very clean and somewhat away from the touristic spots, so it realy feels like being in the country-side, far from urban vibes. We very much enjoyed our stay. The owner was very responsive when we needed an information.

A super nice wooden cabin in Polish style, you feel right at home, great amenities, a super nice location overlooking the mountains, the hosts were very friendly and welcomed us warmly, we enjoyed the time here very much

We had a lovely stay at Martin's place who very kindly welcomed us. The chalet is warm, functional and very well located because two minutes from Donovaly's main chairlift.

We enjoyed our Christmas stay here, the interior of this "Magic Wooden" was very slick and clean. The owner is amazing❤️. Thank you for everything , there was nothing to complain about .

The Podkova Cabin is wonderful. The photos perfectly capture the character of the place. It’s definitely for people who appreciate simplicity, closeness to nature, and want to disconnect from civilization (no internet, barely any mobile signal). Matej is an excellent and very approachable host. He drove us and our luggage directly to the cabin and showed us around the entire place. We even got to try our hand at trout fishing in the pond right next to the cabin – it was a really interesting experience. Throughout our stay, we lacked nothing and felt completely at home :) Matej gave us full freedom and independence. He didn’t bother us with phone calls or messages, but we knew we could reach out to him anytime if needed. This was one of our best Airbnb experiences.

This place absolutely met and exceeded our expectations. Before we arrived, we received detailed information from the owner that simply found the place and knew exactly where to find what works in the cottage. The owner was available the whole time and his actions were absolutely top notch. 👌 The cottage itself is like from a fairy tale, we immediately felt the warmth of home and fell on us the soothing feeling that persisted in us throughout the stay. Despite the presence of the surrounding structures, it was absolutely quiet and we felt secluded, which we were looking for exactly. Everything was perfectly prepared, cleaned, and the equipment of the chalet is really above standard, so there is nothing to complain about. We are already planning to come back. Thank you very much to the owners and cheers 🙂

We were extremely satisfied with the stay, the host was great communication with the host, he recommended the restaurant to see in the area, we thought the accommodation was nicer than the photos, there was no problem. We felt very good there

I really liked the accommodation! Everything was at the highest level. There was even more than necessary for the grill. Very beautiful plot near the house, you can see that the hosts love their place . I would like to thank the hosts from the bottom of my heart♥️. We'll come back more than once!

We loved our stay in the cabin and would highly recommend it. The directions for finding it from Jan were perfect. There is a bit of a walk from where you park your car but it’s very easy. The cabin is ideally situated in the Tatras for accessing all areas including some of the attractions to the south. There are so many caves, hikes and museums to visit, we ran out of time. Plus the exceptional train network meant you could park your car and get public transport if you wanted to. The cabin itself is located in a small cluster of cabins (but each having their own space). The neighbouring cabin is shielded by some trees so the garden does feel very secluded. You can hear some noise during the day when you’re in the garden (neighbours, motorbikes, the trains etc) but it really wasn’t intrusive. In fact, it was quite nice to hear. We are usually people who shy away from any sort of noise and it was fine for us. FYI - you can fly from Luton to Poprad via Wizzair. We can’t wait to return!

We rented this cozy house to celebrate the New Year with friends. Everything was at the highest level, the house was equipped with all the necessary utensils, as well as its own grill in the courtyard. The owner Jan was very responsive and always helpful and answered all questions quickly. I also really liked the sauna that the host prepared for us. In general, the holidays went very well thanks to a good owner and a lovely house.

Peter is an amazing host. Since our first night was on a holiday he asked if he could stock the fridge with food in case we were unable to find any restaurants or grocery stores open. He also told us about a local pizza place that was open so we could have a hot meal. Peter and his wife met us at the rental during check-in and check-out to make sure everything was good. He was incredibly attentive via text to help with anything. He also helped retrieve a lost piece of luggage we forgot in Budapest. He spent a lot of his time helping us contact a shipping company and communicating. The location is good if you want to be out a bit in nature. There are some lookouts nearby you can hike to from the house. There is also a small grocery store in town but not much else. There were several local ski resorts we frequented nearby (10 minutes, 20 minutes, 45 minutes). All of this was perfect for us. The house was lovely and had everything we could need and more. Amazing place, amazing host’s Parents. Everything was incredibly clean and 100% working. Comfortable beds, quiet location and super comfortable for 7 people (can fit more). 10/10 and for sure will be back in winter season!
