Perched on a gentle incline, the Writer’s Retreat feels private and tucked away among the trees. Just minutes’ drive from beaches and a short stroll to the charming center of Wellfleet. Unwind at our on-site SeaRose Spa, w/ a hot tub, saunas, & massage therapy (special guest rates) — part of our BnB property, which also includes two guest suites in the main house.

Speckle-painted floors, warm wood walls, and a fieldstone fireplace along with 3 bedrooms, plus 2 twins in a room with laundry. Two full baths, and an outdoor shower. Screened porch. It’s all about simple traditional summer living and Nauset Beach, a short stroll. Bring sheets and towels or use local service. A summer guest house and a winter addition on property.

The 1840s Carriage House has been beautifully remodeled. The first floor has a living room, dining area, kitchen, and powder room with washer/dryer. The backyard deck has seating for four and a Weber gas grill. Upstairs, the large, elegant bedroom features a king-sized bed, sitting area, reading nook/twin bed, writing desk, and ensuite bathroom with shower. The half acre property offers beautiful gardens for you to enjoy and a delicious outdoor shower.
