Monthly Rentals in Ortignano Raggiolo

We had a wonderful week at Raggiolo and in Laura's house. We enjoyed the quiet surroundings of the mountain village and nature as well as the very good excursion possibilities to the nearby and further surroundings in Tuscany. The house had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We especially enjoyed the garden, the hot tub and the beautiful views. Laura was always available to us at short notice and provided us with very helpful recommendations for hikes, sightseeing and restaurants. Sincere thanks for the unforgettable days!

A wonderful place, we always like to come back. The house is tastefully designed down to the last detail and offers plenty of space to spread out. The location and views are spectacular. In addition, in summer you feel like you are in the Garden of Eden: wonderful figs, grapes, apples and herbs in abundance. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

We've had some absolutely amazing days at Villa II Castello in Ortignano. The house is quiet, at the top of the hill with a great view of mountains on one side and valley to the other. There's a really good vibe in the house, high ceilings, and lots of spaciousness. The pool is amazing and was used a lot. Our host, Novella, was very welcoming and helpful. She offers a home course in Italian cooking, which we never had time to use, and is happy to give good tips for restaurants etc. in the area. We can recommend trips to Sienna and Arezzo and a trip to the natural park north-east of Ortignano. We went to Camaldoli and went on a walk from there. Mountain-takingly beautiful. At one end of the house, on the lower floor, lives an older couple. The house and garden are completely divided, so you don't disturb each other. Our warmest recommendations for Novella, the beautiful Tuscan house and not least amazing Toscona.

We spent a week at Marco & Lavinia's place in Poppi and had a very relaxing stay! The apartment was clean and felt authentic. The living room was huge, and bedrooms were surprisingly big too. We worked remotely and the internet was plenty fast enough for video calls. The garden is a huge plus! We spent a lot of time relaxing outside enjoying the view. And right outside the property is a well-maintained medieval castle that is definitely worth touring for only 7 euro! Marco & Lavinia were generous hosts and very responsive.
