Vacation rentals in Otterstad

The two of us and our dog spent two weeks with Peter and enjoyed it very much! Peter and his wife Marie are both very hospitable and gave us a very nice time. The tiny house is super cozy, has everything you need and we immediately felt very comfortable and at home. It was very clean and well equipped. We didn't miss anything. We were able to make good use of the many seating options on the terrace and in the garden, as well as the available grill, in the best sunny weather. Peter gave us many tips for paths and places to visit. We were hiking a lot and on the water. The peninsula is beautiful and offers many hiking trails. Perfect with a dog. It was a great vacation! Highly recommended 👍

To say we had a nice stay would be an understatement! The accomidation is so lovely and we had an amazing vacation. The pool deck is even nicer than you might think from the pictures. The pool costs a little extra (120€ for the week as of 2022), which would have been nice to write in the listing. Given the pool is heated and has to be maintained the cost is understandable though of course. The next grocery store is about 15min by car and the next bigger town about 40 to 50min. Given how nice the house is you might not want to leave though :) We had a lot of fun taking the SUP and the canoe out to the lake, we even had the chance to do this with our little dogs for the very first time, so that was a really great experience. There is even a grill, which Linda and Peter were kind enough to let us borrow. All basic spices, oils and such were also there to borrow. The surrounding forrest is beautiful too and there were plenty of mushrooms to pick. Lastly two things worth noting (These werent issues for us but might be worth knowing for others). Both the pool deck and the garden are not fenced in, so if you have small kids or dogs you will have to keep an extra eye out. And the larger beds in the main house are in separate rooms but the rooms are only separated by a curtain. Again, these were really non issues when you take into account how lovely the rest of the place was! So, thank you again for letting us stay here, Linda and Peter!

Peaceful and beautiful place. I really enjoyed this house and have a wonderful moment. Luckily, I saw the Aurora in the night time. Small town is not too far away from the house, whenever I want to buy something, I just visit the town easily. Also the town have a great swimming pool. I really love the swimming pool. Only one thing, since I do not know how to use motor boat, I could not use it. Also, before I arrived there, I asked some questions about fishing equipment rental and host borrowed me the fishing equipment, although I could not use it due to motor boat issues. Anyway, the host was very kind and provide useful information to me. Highly recommend this house 👍

Remko's house in Bengstfors was beautiful and calm, with lots of space and wonderful views. We loved the feel here, and the back yard even had some places to explore where we found wild strawberries and a boulder to climb. We made use of the well-supplied kitchen and the laundry room, which was much needed in the middle of a long trip for us. There is a safe walking path into town to access a grocery store and a few restaurants. Remko and his family were incredibly accommodating, even helping us out when we lost the house key! We enjoyed exploring all that this region has to offer while staying in a comfortable and spacious family home.

Our stay in Åsarp was simply unforgettable and we owe it above all to our wonderful hosts Sandra and Helge. For eight nights, we were allowed to stay in a lovingly furnished home in the middle of nature, which left nothing to be desired. The place was spotlessly clean and designed with noticeable warmth. What makes this place special is the honest hospitality and of course Cindy, the enchanting dog who has taken our heart by storm. Sandra and Helge were always friendly, attentive and pleasantly reserved, just perfect. You can feel when hosts are there with their hearts and that was exactly the case here. We are thankful for this break full of peace, nature and warmth. Tack så mycket – we hope to see you again!

We enjoyed this charming cottage very much. Secluded location, cozy garden, nice surroundings and good walking opportunities. Great location for exploring Kinnekulle, the cottage is also close to Kinnekulleleden.

We had a wonderful time staying at Jonathan and his family's place. We were there for one week with 4 adults and 5 children. The place was good for our group. The grounds were beautiful and approachable. When we were there, snow fell, this we loved very much, we could walk, drive and play in the snow. Jonathan is very kind and helpful! If anything, he responded to our questions right away. I highly recommend this house and also the host!
