OPENING March 20, 2026 Nestled in the mountains of Nara and Yoshino, surrounded by greenery, lies a quiet, one-day-only traditional Japanese inn: B&B Morino Akari.(The name means "Light of the Forest") ⚫︎ During your stay, owner-prepared breakfast and dinner are included (see photos for reference). ⚫︎ We can also accommodate meals for pescatarians and vegetarians. The kitchen area is shared with Hotos.The rest of the building is for your exclusive use, and you can enjoy your time as freely as if you were renting the entire building. This spacious property, measuring approximately 230 square metres, can accommodate up to 8 guests.Ideal for family or group trips.There is also excellent access to Yoshinoyama, a famous cherry blossom viewing spot, and Kinkōsanji Temple, a World Heritage Site. We have preserved the historic beams and tiled roof while creating a comfortable space for you to enjoy.The tranquillity of the mountains, the soft light that shines at night.Here, you can take a break from your daily routine. Due to the lush natural surroundings, we recommend arriving by car. "A land of scenic spots loved by Manyo people" Miyataki, a small village in Yoshino, is a World Heritage Site and is also known as the "best cherry blossom spot in Japan".This Miyataki used to have an emperor's imperial palace called "Yoshino Palace", and it is also a deep historical place where the Jinshin War took place.Many many songs celebrating the scenery of this Miyagaki are housed in the collection of Manyoshu. And the area where the Yoshino River flows is known as one of the best river play spots in the Kansai area, and it is bustling with many river guests during the summer vacation. We decided to renovate a 100-year-old house where grandparents lived for many years as an umbrella and lantern artisan in Miyataki, and revived it as a "Cho Lan Inn". It is an inn that is easy to use by a large number of people, such as multiple households and friends, making use of the location "just a short distance to the river where you can play". We hope you can use it as a base for sightseeing in Yoshino, river play, and BBQ while feeling the breath of history and nature. There is a private sauna and water bath (tarai) in the courtyard.If you are a sauna lover, please come with us.

Kashinoki-an, a spacious, authentic Japanese-style inn with a beautiful garden and Japanese dolls and kimonos on display, 3 minutes from the station

Kashinoki-an is in a very convenient location, just a 3-minute walk from Kintetsu Kashihara-Jingu-Mae Station. Kashihara Jingu Shrine is a historic town with the mausoleum and shrine of the first emperor of Japan, in the place where Japan began. It is also a place with a lot of greenery and nature. In the neighborhood, there is Asuka, which retains the appearance of ancient Japan, and is dotted with many ruins. Imai-cho, where the old streets from the Edo period still exist, is also a highlight. Kashinoki-an is a pure Japanese-style house built over 60 years ago, and you can also enjoy the garden. The kitchen and bathroom have been renovated for a pleasant stay. There is also a tourist information center, restaurant, tavern, supermarket, drug store, convenience store, and 100-yen shop nearby, making it very convenient. You can also get to Kyoto, Osaka, and Nara in about an hour.

This inn, "Oyodo Sakuran", is a 70-year-old traditional house that I, a former firefighter, have lovingly renovated myself. We hope you can relax and unwind as though you were visiting a relative's house. While doing DIY and spending time here, I have come into contact with the richness of nature and the warmth of the local people many times. Eventually, this place began to feel like a "second home" to me. In addition, my wife, daughter, and mother helped with the interior design and creating the flow of the space. By incorporating a uniquely feminine perspective, we have created a space that prioritizes ease and comfort, so we are sure you will have a pleasant stay. Please relax and enjoy yourself.

Guest house Kisansei Seseragi

The guesthouse where the green water boils from Mt. Yoshino creates a high waterfall and pours it into the elephant creek. Manyo singers and travelers are also nostalgic and nostalgic. Enjoy a day of relaxing in nature and life since ancient times. Dinner and breakfast are not provided. Feel free to use the kitchen, cooking utensils, refrigerator, etc. and cook and bring your own. * You'll also need to bring condiments. One room is 1,000 yen. It can be used by 2 people. It's non for one person only. Extra person ¥5,000 (However, it is 2,000 yen for elementary and middle, and preschool children are free). The bath is a traditional Japanese wood-fired bath. There are 2 bedrooms(Tatami-room) and 1 living room, gameroom, bathroom, shower toilet, all of the room are only for you. *Children is free of charge if your children don't need a bed and break fast. There are air conditioners in bedroom and livingroom.
