Outside, witness stunning sunrises over the Palo Pinto Mountains and sunsets over the beautiful oak trees.

Embrace the bucolic lifestyle of this quaint cabin that’s adjacent to a pasture and pond. When weather permits, we have a fire pit you may use to make S’mores right in front of your cabin. We welcome you here to enjoy rest during your travels or maybe need a quiet place that’s near the Hospital. We are 2 miles from historic downtown & close to parks & lakes. Also, I will prepare breakfast for you and deliver to your door! (Times for breakfast delivery are from 8:30 to 10am, just let me know:)

Each has a bunk bed for kids, a full bed for singles or snuggly couples, and a kitchenette with a mini fridge and microwave. These no-frills, vintage-style cabins offer plenty of outdoor space to enjoy. You'll also have access to shared amenities like outdoor dining, grills, a firepit, and The Storehouse. Plus, enjoy a deep-water dock, canoe/kayak racks, a beach launch, and an outdoor shower after lake fun.

Enjoy spectacular sunrises, watching hummingbirds, kayaking, canoeing, fishing off dock (bring worms and fishing license), roasting s'mores, grilling, hiking, and the brightest stars in Texas! Bring your boat & tie up to our dock. Lots of space to park your trailer. Pet friendly to non-aggressive, house-trained dogs up to 25# with a pet fee. Friendly dogs and cats roam the unfenced area.

Come get cozy at the coop. Enjoy scenic views, serene quite surroundings and reconnect with nature. Located just under 2 miles from downtown Mineral Wells, the Wellness Capital of Texas, this place lets you check out but still enjoy the town. The ponds on site allow you to fish, feed ducks and enjoy quiet mornings enjoying nature. If your heart desires you can also pick fruits and nuts around the farm depending on the season. These 12 acres brings you to a simpler time and place.

Private cabin on beautiful Palo Pinto lake. 11 miles north of I-20. Lake front home with stunning views of the lake. Leave your worries behind while you swim from the dock, sit by the fire pit and BBQ with the family. Kitchen area is fully equipped to prepare meals as well. Cabin boasts a screened in porch with lovely outdoor seating to read, chat, or to simply admire the view. 1 bedroom upstairs, 2 twin beds and a futon in the kitchen/dining area downstairs. Can sleep 6 people.

The Lazy Possum Cottage @PK

The Lazy Possum Cottage is a modern fishing cabin on the north side of Possum Kingdom Lake. This newly remodeled waterfront property offers a gentle slope to the water perfect for swimming and wading. It is usually deep enough to moor a boat or jet skis right at the shore although if the water level fluctuates you might have to tie it up a little further out or use our boat slip at the Marina less than a quarter mile away.
