I was for a long time a war correspondent and, in my journeys, I always made a point of bringing back a book, a carpet, a stone, a painting, a fragment of memory so that the world may live in my Roman home. The flat is available for brief stays but also for longer periods. Being less than a block away from the Opera Theatre, it could be the perfect base for singers and musicians. Giuseppe stayed here and this is what he had to say: "The flat is in a quiet street, off Monti. When you enter, it's all very charming. It's not a regular "B&B" experience, it's the flat of a woman who travels a lot for work. The result is very stylish and warm and full of wonderful details. Were you not inclined to walk, the loft is located between the two main metro lines - A and B - that take you to most of the sightseeing. There is plenty of silence and light. The light is important, I believe and the silence as well. The loft is on the 6th floor, with the elevator. The apartment has just been renovated with parquet in the bedrooms, an equipped kitchen and brand new furniture. The bedrooms can be both double or one double and the other with two single beds, as needed. A crib for small children is also provided upon request. Guests will have access to the entire apartment. We will be at your disposal for your every need or even just if you need advice on where to go to eat or what to do in the evening Via delle Fornaci is right in front of the Colonnade of St. Peter's, a 5-minute walk away. The area offers various services, including numerous bars and restaurants. Right in front of the apartment door is the stop for bus number 64, which goes directly from St. Peter's Square to Termini station, passing through the Roman Forum and Piazza Venezia. At about 300 meters, about 10 minutes, you reach the San Pietro train station.
