Marcus was the perfect host from start to finish, we are familiar with Gilmorton as we only live a few miles away but we needed a home from home while some building works took place on our own house. when we arrived it was spotlessly clean and smelt lovely it was the little things like the home being warm when we arrived and clear instructions on how to use the oven, microwave etc. we struggled to get the TV on but I messaged Marcus and he responded instantaneously and actually took the time to come over to show us so extra stars for that. Gilmorton is a lovely village and has a few pubs 1 of which arguably does the best carvery in Leicestershire "in my opinion" and you can even get it to go !!! if you want something fancier there is the grey goose. To summarise... Great house , Great location and nothing is to much trouble for Marcus . We stayed 3 weeks and if flew by . we would highly recommend.

Beautifully clean, we felt right at home as soon as we arrived. It felt very welcoming, particularly the parking just for us. It was very spacious and peaceful, perfect for a few nights away. Jude was super helpful when we had an issue and had everything sorted in a flash. Wonderfully friendly and really made our stay special.

Lovely stay at Les Cedres which has everything you need for a short break. The hosts were extremely responsive with communications and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending

The stables was a stunning place to stay with all the amenities you need and a very cosy feel inside, on a beautiful location, we loved the chickens and other birds running about plus the lovely horses and the dogs, beautiful views of the fields and lovely walks with the kids. Richard and Amy were the contacts we felt with on our stay and they are first class, so friendly and welcoming and very responsive if you need to contact them for any reason. I was gutted to have to leave at the end of the stay and I wanted to stay permanently. I’d highly recommend you go and stay and I’ll certainly be returning.
