Couldn’t recommend Charlie’s place more!! Such a beautiful home with everything we needed for a lovely long weekend by the sea. The house was gorgeous and in the perfect location - we all felt right at home. Charlie was a great host, super helpful and responsive and gave loads of great recommendations on what to do in the area.

Thank you Abi, right from jumping in and rescuing me from having booked the wrong day you've been exceptionally lovely. Thank you. My sons, dog and I had a speedy, last min but perfect trip to the Writers' Retreat. We were wowed by how much we enjoyed Ramsgate and how quickly we got there from London. Just pure loveliness all round. I'll be back and can imagine myself taking a trip on my own for reading and sleeping as recovery from work (the bed was so comfy!) also plan to return with a couple of friends for catching up and my boys want to come again. Coffee was perfect and too the popcorn supply. Thanks Abi, all thoughtfully done and, well, that's good for anyone's soul, ain't it?!!

We had such a great experience at Amanda's place. Easy to get to from the station and minutes away from the centre of Ramsgate and the harbour/ beach. We also met Amanda who is a very kind and thoughtful person. She could not have been more responsive and helpful. We brought our little dog who also very much enjoyed her stay, particularly the garden that was available. I would definitely recommend to anyone thinking of going to Ramsgate who would like to stay somewhere chic and peaceful. There is a large supermarket moments away for all your needs and lots of bars and restaurants on the same road, a little further down.
