Cartws - Beautifully Converted Barn

PeterRating, 5 stars8 months ago
We had an amazing stay at Cartws! The location was idyllic and was a perfect base for exploring the local area, not that we wanted to leave each day as the home was was so cozy and welcoming! We particularly loved the views of the fields with the Preseli hills in the background, inspiring us to take a hike to take a closer look, and the lemon cake that was left for us when we arrived was a delicious touch! On a practical note, the home was super clean, beds were comfortable and the kitchen well equipped with utensils (including adequately sharp knives - not a given in my experience!) making self catering a pleasure! We would definitely stay again

The Barn

This was one of the most relaxing stays hands down! Enjoyed our time at the property. The little one had a great time at the play area. Best place to unwind with lots to do within a 30 minute drive.

Y Cartws-Rural cottage-great for star gazing-WIFI

CatherineRating, 5 stars8 months ago
Absolutely loved our stay at Eirlys and Paul's lovely property, Y Cartws. Set in a tranquil, peaceful spot off the beaten track, it is perfectly placed for travel in every direction, and then return to the secluded tranquility after your travels. Eirlys and Paul are the most amiable of hosts, friendly and quick to respond at all times. Whilst the let property is completely separate and private, Eirlys and Paul's house is close by, and so they are on hand in case of emergency. My partner, myself and my young daughter all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and were so sorry to leave, we would have happily spent forever there. It would be remiss not to mention the dogs, a lovely feature of the holiday, particularly Bella, a gorgeous little treasure that was so well behaved and friendly. Being a working farm there is the opportunity to get involved at times, which would be lovely and interesting, particularly for children. I can't recommend it enough, don't hesitate, get it booked! 😊

Penrhiw -a country cottage with mountain views

HakanRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We stayed in this wonderfully thought out cottage during a family break. All of us needed a calm distraction free time as a family. What an experience it was! We loved how unobtrusively comfortable the cottage was. The design of space and its interaction with the outside allowed us to relax and rest effortlessly. All the details were thought of as a lived in space rather than bits and bobs thrown in from a supermarket! Very high quality appliances (Neff, Franke in an Air BnB?) and tools in the kitchen. The warmth and cosiness was what we needed and we got plenty here. I found communication from Meg and Emma was just right. We received all the information that could be useful before we arrived and during our stay we had one ad-hoc correspondence to which they replied almost immediately. So could not fault them with communication. I’m sure if there was a pressing matter that needed their attention they would be at hand to address any of our concerns We all would love to go back 🎉?

What a slice of heaven! We have just returned from a short break - 2 x adults, 1 x 6 year old and our dog and it's safe to say, we all had the best time! Our hosts were lovely and so helpful. We have stayed at many properties over the last few years and the local information and recommendations offered by the hosts was fabulous! so many great suggestions, we wish we'd have had time to do them all. A return visit is a must. This is a beautiful part of the world where you can explore, recharge and enjoy what the area has to offer. Thank you for a fabulous stay x

Luxe Stargazers Barn; Close to Coast, Town, Trails

Our family had an amazing stay at Dol Y Frenni! The property was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. The peaceful surroundings and stunning scenery made it the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The hosts were fantastic—thoughtful, welcoming, and always available if we needed anything. We especially appreciated the little touches that made the place feel like a home away from home. We truly enjoyed every moment of our stay and would highly recommend Dol Y Frenni to anyone looking for a cozy and memorable retreat.

Ty Draw - set in 20 acres with wonderful walks

RichardRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Everything about this cottage is brilliant. Jan and John gave us a warm welcome and live locally for any issues that we might have had (we didn't have any). The cottage was spotlessly clean with great facilities, comfortable beds and a really lovely surrounding environment. We'll certainly be back.

Michelle’s home is in a beautiful location above a really attractive river valley near Cardigan, and is very cosy. We (2 adults and 2 children) had a great time visiting the Pembrokeshire coast from the house, and would definitely stay here again.

Barnacle Cottage - 100 metres to the beach

SusanRating, 5 stars5 days ago
A multi generational family break for us - this cottage wrapped us in the hug that we all really needed. A superb place to rest, relax, recharge and just be together. We were truly spoiled with the weather so this location would really take some beating - the closeness to nature, the magical waterfall and ancient woodland, the bay, the dark skies, the cliff top walks, the ever changing sea and much much more. Kathryn, our host, was superb and she has organised this cottage brilliantly thinking of everything you could want or need. Good quality contents, linen etc and so welcoming and cosy too. Clear instructions for things, detailed explanations and lots of suggestions for things to do, places to visit as well as games, books, puzzles etc. We were sad to leave and cannot recommend highly enough - it was just what we love.

Renovated Barn with Pond View

DimpeeRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Absolutely stunning spot! Not only that the location is beautiful the house is absolutely perfect, we created some lovely memories staying in this stunning house! We felt very welcome and right at home! The house is well located to supermarkets and y and yet in a very peaceful setting that gives you the countryside vibes. It is well positioned to to all of the tourist sites, for example we went to Scoma Island to see puffins, and we also went to Little Haven and Broadhaven, some lovely beaches around and loads to do. The place is pet friendly which is a big bonus for us so we can enjoy our holiday with our little Furry friend .

Cosy 2 bedroom Cottage in a rural setting.

ErikaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This is a beautiful place to stay. It was even nicer than the photos with tea, sugar, Welsh cakes, good quality bed linen, plenty of toilet rolls and towels. It was comfortable and spotlessly clean. It rained non stop, but this gave us the excuse to cwtch down on the lovely sofas and read our books - bliss! The surroundings are wonderful - birdsong, rolling hills and a gorgeous cherry tree in full blossom outside the door. Ed was really receptive to our texts and gave clear instructions on how to get into the property. There is bags of room to park and check in was really easy. It was incredibly private and we felt like we’d gone to a special, quiet place of our own for three days. We heartily recommend it.

A cottage and gypsy caravan combination holiday

NicholaRating, 5 stars8 months ago
You have a real piece of heaven here. We absolutely loved our stay at Ruby 's fields. A gorgeous, peaceful setting amongst the Welsh farm lands. With views for miles! Annabel and Egan are wonderful hosts and made us all feel at home! The children have absolutely loved the swimming pool and playing with Hamish the dog. I couldn't fault our accommodations, everything we needed had been thought about. Even down to some handmade Happy Birthday bunting waiting on arrival, after I had mentioned we were celebrating our daughters birthday whilst staying. We will definitely be back to see you again! Thank you for a perfect week x

The accommodation was perfect for us - right on the beautiful coast path. It was squeaky clean , cosy and had everything we needed . Jan even left milk and a bottle of local wine in the fridge . The weather was perfect so we didn’t use the games room but it’s definitely a bonus . Jan and Rob were really friendly and attentive and made us and our four legged friend very welcome . Will be back x

Cwmderi, a green valley.

GilesRating, 5 stars4 months ago
A really well appointed and thoughtfully designed place to stay. A historical building that has been designed with modernity in mind but utilising traditional building materials such as the pointed slate walls and tiled floors with under floor heating. It’s well insulated so should you experience cold weather etc you can get the fire on and feel cosy inside. The views are lovely, it’s peaceful and a great way to detox from our digital lives.

A delightful place to stay. All mod cons including TVs in both bedrooms. Tastefully furnished and very well equipped. Hywel was an excellent host and was very proactive. We had a lovely meal in the Carew Inn who provided the biggest chips I've ever seen. Highly recommend a stay. We hope to return.
