Vacation rentals with a washer and dryer in Penacova

I had a great stay. This is a very comfortable one bedroom apartment. Ricardo was very nice and helpful.

This is my favorite stay in Portugal. Cecilia was so nice and friendly. After she eft we settled in and found the Refrigerator/ freezer were not working. She turned around and came right back, and agreed it was dead. She said they would replace it ASAP. We went out for lunch and came back and there was a working refrigerator! Thats Service! We loved the view from the kitchen bar every morning. We loved that we could walk into the main area, and then back up the hill to the quiet of this place. Great stay!

Very nice place, taken care of and with a fairly large pool. Hosts are very thoughtful and friendly. The place is quite well located for those who come by car and plan to visit the river beaches in the area. There are no large supermarkets in the locality, so please note that shopping should ideally be done at once. For a 6-person space, the refrigerator is quite reduced. However, we had a great stay and recommend this accommodation for rural vacations.

Located on the outskirts 30 minutes walk from Chiesa Santa Engracia, quiet area and easy to park. Apartment without elevator. Self check in,Wifi ok Independent kitchen with table to eat, washing machine (we do not use) , dishwasher (we do not use), microwave, toaster. Inconvenient, there is only a capsule coffee maker "dolce gusto", there is no Italian coffee maker or filter machine. The capsules are for sale in a vending machine at the entrance, paid for each capsule with currency of 0.5€. The idea of the variety is good,we were surprised because it is the first time we saw it (other accommodations leave a few free capsules) The problem: if you do not have change (which is quite frequent because we pay by card or mobile) you find that you can not have a coffee at breakfast.. Tip:leave a token or several capsules for free and if someone wants more or varied to pay it. In addition, you have to pay 1€ per person per night as a tourist tax, according to signs in the house.. and that we pay €140 night.

If you are looking for peace is your place. Everything was perfect.

Cecilia & Ricardo's apartment is gorgeous. It is decorated beautifully and we had everything we needed. The location can't be beat - right next to the university and then a quick walk to the town or river. The patio is amazing - can see the river and beautiful botanical gardens. Stay here! You won't regret it.

We had an amazing time here! So wonderful setting and peaceful. All the amenities we could imagine. Exactly what we were looking for when we would stay near Coimbra for one of us to work there and the rest of the family have a great time. We went around and discovered the surroundings and found both good restaurant and shops a short drive away. We bathed in the biological pool and also had fun with tadpoles, lizards and other things you could see. The river at your fingertips was also a lovely place to be at. We picked grapefruits from the trees and eggs from the hens. Helena was an amazing host and thought of us right away when there was a power outage in all of Portugal. We felt safe and cared for. One of the beds is very hard but it was possible to solve ok with some cushions. We would be glad to come back!

This little house was perfect and very comfortable, we had everything we needed and the location was great for what we wanted to do. Jose is a very pro-active host and made check in and locating the house very easy. The local villagers were also very friendly which made us feel very welcome.

The perfect place to disconnect. Super quiet village, lots os places to explore and the perfect place to leave the worries outside. The hosts are amazing. Quick responses, great flexibility and the perfect"distance" during all the stay. If you need them they are there if not they leave you to enjoy the stay. Melanie, thank you for the Christmas Tree and the gifts. The house is spacious, well equiped and everthing you need to have the right temperature inside, even when thwy were 3° outside. And even for those that cannot disconnect, great wifi and tv service!

We got our days mixed up and arrived a day early. Telma was lovely and came to open up for us when she realised what had happened. Lovely spot. Just what we wanted.

Very large and clean house. The hostess lives on top but the privacy is complete. The view is great

We stayed in one of the cottages at the highest point with a beautiful view of the campsite and the high rocks that also belong to the campsite. A beautiful place, even more beautiful than in the pictures. Here you can really relax. The children enjoyed themselves in the ecological swimming pool (among the fish and frogs) and on the trampoline with other children. Jeroen and Linzie do everything to make the stay as pleasant as possible. One real recommendation!

Very clean apartment in good location. The access to the pool and gym is a great addition. The gym is well kitted out for a short getaway. Fernanda’s communication was very good and suggested some great restaurants nearby, shame that some of them were closed for holiday. However, the ice cream spot suggested was the best we’ve ever had! The only comment I’d make is that the washing machine is in the communal area and not the apartment itself. It was €3 to use which isn’t an issue but we didn’t have any pods. Would definitely stay here again if visiting the area.

Good spot, close to the main street of the city. Small and cozy.

We enjoyed our stay at Marcio's in Coimbra. Very comfortable with great view over Coimbra. Would definitely stay there again.
