We loved our stay. Beautiful views, nice and private but not too far from shops and activities. The kids enjoyed the swimming pool and most of all the fire pit :) Thanks Mike, we’ll be back.

Lovely location with a beautiful view over the local countryside. Gavin was very helpful when needed, the house was very clean and well appointed. We'd defiantly stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay and managed to relax and unwind. Paula was very helpful and friendly, as was Cindy who looked after the house during our stay. We really felt as if we were staying in a home which we all loved. The Midlands is the midlands and there is always so much to do. This was a great place for us to be based for the weekend. So much so we ended up spending most of our time at the house as we were so comfy. We would definitely recomend Paula and her place and would most certainly book here again.

The picture cannot describe the beauty and tranquility enough. It felt like a dream. We felt right at home and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The most peaceful place I’ve ever been to and new favourite for a stay in the Midlands, an area I quite frequent. And Gugu was absolutely amazing.

We booked this beautiful peaceful home at the last minute for a family funeral, and it turned out to be a true blessing during a difficult time. The property was spacious, comfortable, and provided a welcoming atmosphere that made my mum and brother—who had come all the way from Australia—feel right at home. We had everything we needed, from thoughtful complimentary treats to a selection of interesting books that helped us unwind during our stay. One of the highlights was the beautiful gift the host gave my mum—a book about the history of the town she grew up in. It was such a personal and meaningful gesture that we’ll always remember. The host's hospitality was unmatched. They were always quick to respond to any request, no matter the time, and their kindness truly made a difference. We were so comfortable here that we even returned for another stay for the residual funeral ceremonies, knowing that we’d be well taken care of.A heartfelt thank you to Renay and Chris. We got what we paid for, the place is clean, had WiFi and my family enjoyed the place. Having breakfast at the patio was the best for us while listening to the birds. The host was very pro active and was willing to assist at anytime. The place was well located and it made my morning walk worth to remember. It's closer to the Howick falls, Karkloof Falls & Nelson Mandela capture site. i wouldn't mind returning for another stay. Thank you for your warm home.

From the moment I made my booking to checkout, Giovanni, Nokuzola and team made me feel incredibly welcome. Their hospitality was truly exceptional, with warm, thoughtful touches (fresh fruit and candy upon arrival!) that made my stay feel so special. I appreciated prompt communication from hosts - responsive, clear, and always friendly, ensuring I had everything I needed for a smooth and enjoyable stay. What a special spot in KwaZulu-Natal! The farmhouse itself is a peaceful retreat, tucked away in a stunning, serene location with breathtaking views of the surrounding farm landscapes. Wish I could’ve stayed longer but I will definitely be back!

Michelle is a great host, responded almost immediately and we were in a bit of a tight spot and needed accomodation for 2 nights due to severe weather. Michelle is helpful and friendly and it was a great stay. I can only recommend staying with her.

Hilton is a lovely area, and the mist can be quite deceiving if you're looking to do activities outside Hilton! The accommodation was as advertised. Perhaps not suggested for more than 3 adults, ideal for a family of 4. 3 very friendly dogs are on the property. Parking is a bit of an issue, the undercover parking can only shield a small vehicle. All other parking is open. The road leading to the accommodation is poor, so be warned of that. Mary-Ann was responsive to all requests, and open to speak in person or instant messaging. The unit contains all the expected basics, with a lovely bath and a baby bath, which was quite handy in our case! I would most certainly recommend her if you're staying in Hilton.

Spacious and homely. Allowed for my big family to get cosy and comfortable the whole weekend. Very responsive and gracious host. The place is heavenly you are nestled in the trees and captivated by the lake. It was too cold to swim so look forward to visiting when weather is warmer

lovely house! we came down from joburg for the midmar mile swim. it was 20 minutes away from the dam which was perfect. what we loved the most was that it is an actual home - it felt so comfortable and clearly alot of love has gone into it. the garden a particular highlight. the kiddie things a real bonus e.g. beautiful cot, high chair, toys. we'll be back! thanks for a lovely stay!
