Vacation rentals in Piketon

We went to Havenbrook for a girls weekend and getaway and had a great time. The home was incredibly clean and as described in the listing. It was so cozy and a lovely place to spend quality time with friends. Despite the fact that the weather wasn't great, we had no shortage of things to do, cooking in the kitchen, enjoying the hot tub, playing games, and taking a trip to the Inn and Spa at Cedar Falls for massages (about 15 minutes away). We had a wonderful time!

The Cabin was clean and very cozy. Lots of added touches we appreciated (including popcorn to pop). We enjoyed a variety of what Hocking Hills had to offer and the sunsets were beautiful. We hiked the cleared trail in the back of the property and sat on the swing and enjoyed the fire pit sitting area as well. No real issues with insects per other posts, but it's in the woods, so that was to be expected. The host even provided Off Bug repellent if needed. The hill was steep, but not an issue for our SUV and the owners warned you prior to your visit, which is appreciated. We wanted a nice private place and that's what Sodder Ridge offered. My husband and I are both educators and life is busy and this quiet time was desperately needed! So glad we went!

One of the best vacation rentals we have stayed in. Peaceful location with beautiful surroundings, super clean, well-stocked kitchen, tastefully decorated and the hot tub was a nice bonus!

The home is as beautiful as the pictures. The kids loved the hot tub and game room. Thank you Mia for the smores!! The kids loved that added touch. We would have loved to explore the property and enjoy an evening bonfire but, it ended up cold & rainy until check out day. It did give us an opportunity to venture over to the Rock House cave before driving back to Indy which was 5 minutes from the house and worth the easy hike. We also went to a little spot called LJ's Ice Cream & Pizza for Milkshakes and wings, my son loved the wings so much we had to stop and order 40 wings to take home =).

Gorgeous, updated, clean, remote cabin. Exactly what we were looking for. The fire pit and supplied starting material was perfect. Hot tub a great addition as well. We had a small trailer and the host was so accommodating from booking to check in. Would definitely stay here again!

This place was great for our few days in Hocking Hills. The place was incredibly clean, exactly as pictured, and had plenty of space for our party of 5. A couple quick notes it is far from grocery stores and restaurants in general, so be prepared for a little drive if you plan to go out. As a previous renter mentioned there are not any storage containers for leftovers so if you plan to cook you might want to bring your own. Phone service is also sparse in the area so you will need to use wifi. Also the downstairs can be quite chilly so if you plan to use that space in the spring or winter months be sure to pack some warm pajamas and socks. My only suggestion for this place would be a more comfortable seating arrangement on the lower level. The tv is mounted on the wall and can’t really be seen well from the bed. A love seat or even one additional chair would really make the space more functional. Over all we loved this place! Highly recommend!

Fern Haven was a lovely stay. Kevin was responsive and helpful and had the place set up for a relaxing getaway. Directions for getting to the cabin and how to care for the cabin during the stay were explained clearly and helped make for an easy transition into the vacation and upon leaving.

We arrived on a super foggy night and had trouble finding the driveway - the host was so kind and helped us navigate the area (which is hard to do when you have no service and can’t see LOL)! It was such a peaceful stay. The home was even more beautiful in person! Close enough to the caves and hiking trails. The hot tub was a fun bonus! We would totally stay here again!

Debra is a wonderful host and her place is nice and quiet.
