Our stay at this cabin was unforgettable. The cabin was spotless, organized, accommodating, and extremely cozy. It’s exactly what we were looking for in our search for a remote weekend away in the country side. The cabin had comfy beds, plenty of towels, cooking utensils, easy check-in and out instructions, and felt very safe. Plus, it’s a perfect distance from the area’s best hiking trails and outdoor landmarks for visitors from out of town. We recommend this listing for anyone interested in an ideal cabin experience. Our group of 4 really enjoyed this place for a quick weekend get away! From the comfy beds, to the fireplace, fire pit, privacy, nice surroundings on the farm and most of all, a very reasonable price! Close to Muir valley and most hiking in the red river gorge. Check this place out, you won't be disappointed!

We have stayed here multiple times, this place is definitely worth it and we enjoy how private it is.

A change in plans led us to go out of town for Thanksgiving this year. We were looking for a homey place to celebrate and relax, and loved the proximity of this airbnb to Red River Gorge. It was private and beautiful, and was even nicer than the photos made it look. There was plenty of room, a stocked kitchen (pots and pans and basic spices: salt and pepper etc) that made cooking a simple Thanksgiving dinner easy. We loved the open kitchen/living room space so that we could spend time with family while watching football and cooking. I even took a kayak out on Thanksgiving morning! It was a little chilly while we were there, but imagine the deck and pond would be incredible with warmer temperatures. There were tons of towels, blankets, shower items and a hairdryer. The appliances all worked great. We did a lot of hiking while in the area and Wyatt & Savannah's place was an amazing retreat.

Melody's home was an oasis. A cozy, relaxing place to stay after a busy day. Melody was an amazing host, ready to help with any need that came up. The home had lots of helpful extras, such as snacks, drinks and toiletries. We loved the space and enjoyed just hanging out. The yard boasted a lovely area featuring a hammock and a fountain which babbled happily, adding to the atmosphere. I highly recommend anyone visiting the area, choose this lovely BNB, you won't regret it.

Cozy and clean, close to all the attractions of the gorge. The clean hot tub was a definite plus! There are neighbors and someone was in the rental right across the street but never saw them, which also made the location feel nice and private.

Great location, if you’re looking for a quiet and peaceful getaway. We choose this place so we were close to a bunch of hiking trails. There are so many positive comments that I could write but I probably won’t have enough space. My daughters and I had an amazing time here. Cottage in Disguise is clean, peaceful and just what we needed. Vicki is an amazing host! If you forget something Vicki didn’t, she had such the sweetest little touches throughout the house. Any toiletry you need it’s there. Forgot laundry soap, Vicki has your back. She even left us some wonderful homemade sourdough with homemade blackberry jam. There is also an amazing coffee bar, and the kitchen has everything you could need to cook a home cooked meal. I will definitely be back!
