San Biagio Suite in the Sassi

Located in the Sasso Barisano, the San Biagio Suite is completely carved out of the tuff rock and offers the unique and magical experience of sleeping in the Sassi of Matera. The partition walls are made of frosted glass, but with a touch you can make them transparent so you can appreciate the environment in its evocative entirety. In the Sasso, you can admire the fossil shells that emerge from the tuff, take a shower inside the cave and touch the walls that emerged from the sea a million years ago.

No. 11 is located in the heart of the old town of Matera, the Sassi. The breathtaking view has been featured in several films, such as James Bond, the Passion of Christ and Ben-Hur. This historical house has stunning vaulted sandstone ceilings and rooms decorated in Scandic-Italian style. A spacious bedroom, en-suite bathroom and a small lounge area with private entrance from the street. A fantastic location but not for the faint hearted, lots of steps, but it's worth it. Bring your sneakers !

"Alla Volta" is the traditional ptistic house with its brick vaults, the whitewashed walls, and the characteristic double door. The interior spaces include: fully furnished kitchenette, a living room with TV and sofa bed and a sleeping area on the mezzanine with double bed, bathroom with shower, bidet. In 5 minutes walk you are in the historic center of the village; the beaches of Pisticci are a few kilometers away and Matera about 40 km away. Free parking and children's area 500 meters away.
