Great experience, the location close to the historic center and on a quiet street. It's also easy to park for free. The accommodation as described, well-equipped, well decorated and very pleasant. Breakfast was great too. Host was responsive and friendly. We will choose this place again without hesitation!

Eleanor’s place was perfect. What a great location. Easy walk to the Saadi. The view from the balcony was beautiful! The apartment was very clean, spacious and has everything you may need. There was a lovely breakfast each morning to bring to our apartment. We highly recommend Eleonora’s place.

Our stay at the white pumo was very pleasant. Well-kept and clean apartment, and traveling with two little girls, we really appreciated the fact that it was on the ground floor and that Elena left us a basket of toys for the girls. Elena welcomed us in person and left us a basket with breakfast items. The apartment is between small streets but easily accessible by car and parking is easily found in the area. The location is perfect for visiting the Caves and discovering the beaches and neighboring cities (Polignano a Mare, Monopoli, Alberobello, Locorotondo, Ostuni, etc). Highly recommended

Fantastic experience. The place surrounded by greenery has made our stay super quiet away from the hustle and bustle. Lucia personally welcomed us, she was really kind and helpful, she also left us a lot of things for breakfast. If I had to go back to Puglia, I wouldn't think twice about choosing the same host.

I loved staying at this place. The place is decorated and has incredible furniture (I love the atmosphere that all the lamps give), it denotes that the details have been taken care of. Patrizia perfectly indicated me how to get there and although you have to go down some stairs, you soon realize that there are few for the standard of Matera. The view it has is unparalleled and the ease with which you can reach the different points of the historic city makes it easy for me to get to know Matera in depth. There were a lot of things to be able to have breakfast or have a snack, which is very much appreciated. Patrizia's space contributed greatly to how much Matera enjoyed

Amazing location, easy to get to. would recommend putting the address in google maps, not apple maps, as apple maps is less accurate in Matera's streets in general

Antonino has been an excellent and most gracious host during our 7 day stay in Puglia. As many other reviews have stated, Antonino provided us with delicious and fresh fruit, eggs and olive oil all grown on his own patch of land. As for the location, it is perfect if you rent a car as many of the main attractions in Puglia are within a 15-45 min drive. That includes the many beautiful beaches Puglia has to offer. All in all we would definitely recommend this AirBnB, everything is as described and Antonino's graciousness really elevates it beyond the sum of its parts!

Clean apartment equipped with everything you need for a vacation. Antonio is very kind, super helpful and also recommended beaches and restaurants that can be easily reached by public transport, not having a car available. Behind the house there are bus stops that take you all over the city of Taranto. Upon arrival we found coffee pods, yogurt, pie and croissants for breakfast for a week. Beautiful experience.

I'm very, very satisfied The house was so clean and it was a convenient structure to organize my luggage, the house was warm, and the hot water came out well. It was also close to the ruins, so I was able to walk. It was the most pleasant place to stay in Italy

Everything was excellent, the apartment exceeded our expectations, the view of the balcony is a 1000, at night you stay looking at the Sasso and feeling you inside a movie. Luciano was an excellent host, he was waiting for us in the main square 50 meters from the apartment. I explain that doing very kindly, it also offers you to store your car in a parking lot near the accommodation and gives you voucher for breakfast!!! You can't ask for more!!! Highly recommended and we will surely be your guests again.

If we ever come back to Matera, I would want to stay here again. It's in the Sasso Caveoso, but close enough to the modern city that parking is easy in a nearby garage (totally worth paying for). Our hostess gave us the address of the parking garage, and we met her there on day one and she walked us to the apartment. I loved this extra personal attention and hospitality. That alone made our stay nice. But the apartment - Wow - bigger than the photos showed, with great views, a nice spacious bathroom with an excellent shower, comfortable bed, and close to great sights and restaurants. Also it is quiet and very private with the cutest entrance and even a friendly neighborhood cat (bring cat treats if you're a cat person). Brava, Marcella and thank you.

Everything was perfect... if I really have to give some advice I would say to reactivate the radiators because in winter only with the climate control it is a bit cold. But for the hours we spent in the house it was more than fine, we will definitely see each other again!

The house is then located right next to a very good braceria recommended by the owners. We were also offered a great breakfast. Convenient location for touring Matera, Gravina and Bari.

We could not fault our stay at Antico Ulivo. The accommodation, pool and grounds were perfection. Giorgio was the perfect host, he couldn’t do enough for us during our stay and was so knowledgeable and easy to communicate with. We will be recommending Antico Ulivo to all of our family and friends and hope to return ourselves one day. Mariagiovanna's place is lovely. She is very kind and the detail of bringing us croissants for breakfast and a nice piece of focaccia made us very happy. Altamura is beautiful.

We had the most wonderful time at Giulia and Francesco’s. They were very communicative and helpful in planning our arrival. When we arrived we chose to pay for a home cooked meal by Giulia and it was BY FAR the best meal we had in our entire trip. It was just incredible. Her home made limoncello was also amazing! Thank you for a truly authentic stay, would highly recommend!

This is so good on so many levels - the house, the unusual bedrooms, Anna's very personal hospitality, the regional location (as well as the location on the edge of Massafra), the breakfast (so much good food!), not forgetting the swimming pool. Anna even did a pasta making class with us, which was informative and great fun - of course what we made turned into a delicious lunch. It is clear Anna is a hospitality professional, and it shows. We loved it.
