What more can we say? This place was incredible, secluded and beautiful. Hans and Joaquin welcomed us with local fruit and homemade goodies. They even sent us a message to let us know a sloth was outside in a tree for us to come see! Aside from them being amazing hosts, the space was perfect for 2 and was in the best spot for us to explore the beaches and strip with all the restaurants and shops. Definitely the perfect spot and we are looking forward to next time!

Monica’s place is a lovely spot, it’s very private off a quiet road. It’s about a 7min walk to the grocery store and about 15min walk to the beach (I rented a bike which was very useful). I was there for 2 months working, and the time flew by, Puerto Viejo is a lovely little beach town!! Would recommend a stay at Monica’s if you are looking for a peaceful stay in a beautiful location! Her place looks exactly like the photos and is well equipped for long term stays.

Pics are very accurate. We all love the shampoo and soap fragrance 🤩. We have the opportunity to witness some beautiful birds early morning. We had a good coffee that he had for us.
