Beach house vacation rentals in Playa Hermosa

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Right on the beach - 2 min walk, great guide book and recommendations from Petra. Access to bikes for the kids to take into town, fresh coffee on-site which was VERY appreciated and comfortable beds made for great sleeps. Not having to bring beach and pool towels was amazing and we could cook and wash clothes as we wished. Would definitely recommend for your next stay in Jaco! Hidden gem - will definitely stay again.

This location was the perfect spot for our family! It was right on “the strip” of Jaco so was in a walkable distance to the restaurants but felt peaceful in its location on the beach. We loved going back and forth between the beach and the pool. The building has a guard so felt very safe for us traveling with our children.

We loved staying in this place! It was perfect for the whole family. We spent our days between the beach and the pool and it was perfect. Nothing better than having the beach right in front of the house. Also they had cleaning services every day included in the price which was amazing, we didn’t have to be cleaning the sand of the floors and we had new towels every day. We completely loved our stay totally recommend!

A great spot in Jaco for a a bachelor party or surf retreat, we had a blast here. Place was a very clean and the concierge Claudio was awesome and very helping! Would definitely want to to come back

The sunsets alone were worth every penny!! We raced back to the house every night just to watch the colors change. The house itself is quaint, clean, organized and quite perfect! It’s small but they have what is needed to hang your clothes as there is not a lot of room to leave open luggage. Our family ran and played on the quiet beach. I think we saw 5 people total.. great hard packed sand for morning and evening walks. There was a spot that was very dirty (glass, plastic, etc) from high tide that you would want to wear shoes to walk through. Giovanni was thorough in communications and quick to respond! His directions were very much appreciated. We knew there weren’t a ton of amenities nearby. But it’s no joke, when you leave the house pack what you need as it’s not near activities and has very limited eating. Not an issue for most - just a heads up!

The place is very quiet, the location is an idea for the family, the apartments are extremely clean, pleasant, very nice and with all the comforts if you want to cook, 100% recommended, Javier's service is excellent, attentive and respectful!!

An amazing stay: the house was one block from the quiet south end of Jaco beach, and close to a surf school we wanted to try. Quiet and peaceful by the pool, and clean and well appointed inside. Great AC which was appreciated! Danielle was very responsive to our (many) questions beforehand, provided a great guide book, and helped us organize rides from SJO airport. She noticed when we rang the Ring doorbell after managing to lock ourselves out (by bringing the wrong key), and let us in before we even had time to contact her :) Absolutely no issues at all -- great place, great host, would definitely stay again.

The house is perfect for two in a gated community within walking distance of beaches and restaurants. The staff are helpful and kind. The house is small, and a great spot to come back to after enjoying all the activity of Jaco. My 75 year old (non-swimmer) mother enjoyed the backyard pool and we both appreciated access to the bikes and plethora of beach amenities. The property is still under construction, expect sounds of the city, but it also means we had full use of the property perks (pickleball court, community pool and party space) to ourselves. In addition, Liana was always responsive and helpful. Recommend!

A beautiful house super close to everything to be comfortable, and the central place to move to other beaches, in addition to having a private pool and the neighbors respect the rules so you can get san very well.

Beautiful Home !!! Gated Community With Security On Site 24/7. You Can Walk To Anywhere In Jaco Within A Few Moments. I Will Not Stay Anywhere Else Except Here Once I Return.

This was a great find! The pool is beautiful and surrounded by greenery and birds. The place had a very modern, clean feel. It was a great location- quick trip to Jaco and Manuel Antonio National Park was only about an hour and a half away. Jeffery was a great, responsive host that communicated promptly. Highly recommend.

We had a lovely 3 nights here. The caretaker Yeni was very helpful (I don't think much English but we didn't have trouble communicating). Jessica was wonderful from afar and very responsive. The house was very comfortable. It does get warm at the beach this time of year, so very thankful for the ac in the bedrooms and lots of fans - and a wonderful swimming pool. Had all the amenities listed. Were able to grill one night. Lots of great restaurants nearby. A good set of instructions with things to do and places to get food, sights to see. Gray sand beach but not rocky like some in Costa Rica are. House was spacious - we were only two couples but easily could be a friends group or larger family. Could easily have stayed longer - maybe next time!

Excellent stay at Luis’ casa by the beach, in a secure location (gated community) close to anything we needed (groceries and restaurants). The pool and jacuzzi were really enjoyable, the rooms are big, bigger than what I expected from the pictures. We also cooked a lot at home and the kitchen was well equipped. We would go back anytime!

Very well equipped home in a quiet lakeside community. Laura is a lovely host and is proactive and friendly. Loved that there are screens on the windows and doors to be able to use fans downstairs and not have to go between pool and cold AC. Great bike paths and trails, a 5min drive to the beach. Hermosa beach isn’t a swimming beach, but you can still go in the shallow end during low tide for a dip. They haven’t yet cleaned up the logs and debris from the shoreline, so it’s still a bit rough, but nice for a long walk. Would definitely stay again!

Beautiful place to stay. People in the area were very friendly and helpful. I spoke a little Spanish and they spoke a little English and we were able to communicate great. The restaurants were walking distance and the beach was even closer. Wonderful relaxing atmosphere and we enjoyed our stay a lot. The iguana were very entertaining and the macaws were very beautiful birds to photograph.

We stayed for one month at Roberto‘s place. Having the pool in the backyard was a lifesaver. The house and the location was great. Walking distance to the beach, restaurants, and grocery store. It was nice having a private bathroom in each bedroom. The outdoor sitting area is covered, which made it far more comfortable in the heat. Roberto was absolutely fantastic in response to any issues we had regardless of how big or how small. He replied immediately and took care of every issue we had within hours. The only thing I can think of that was not the greatest was the kitchen supplies, if you like to cook the pots and pans and other kitchen utensils were not the greatest. That being said, we made do with what we had, and in our overall experience at this house was fantastics. Thank you Roberto for doing such a great job hosting our stay.
