Vacation rentals with a firepit in Playa Hermosa

The location would have been difficult to find so Johann met us in Parrita and we were able to follow him, so arrival at the right location was uneventful. We found Johann and Elke to be great hosts as they respected our privacy yet were always available anytime we wanted to contact them. They were more than willing to answer any questions, provide us with everything we needed for our stay. In addition, the sofa upon arrival was broken and once Johann was informed he went out the following day and purchased a new one for us as well as providing us with a brand new microwave. The pool was great, scenery was awesome. We found it to be a peaceful, relaxing surrounding.

Tuvimos una excelente estadía en esta propiedad. Todo estaba tal cual se mostraba en las fotos, muy limpio y cómodo. Mi familia la pasó genial y Jose, el anfitrión, fue súper atento y amable en todo momento. ¡Recomendadísimo!

Rosalia is an excepcional host, super helpful, friendly and with great communication. The house is super comfortable and looks like brand new with everything working super well and super clean. I loved that the kitchen/living room is connected with the bbq/pool, so the family can be all together. Only 5min by car from Hermosa beach and located in a beautiful gated community. I’ll be back with my family for sure!

Simplemente excelente. Mi familia y yo quedamos felices con nuestra estancia. El apartamento estaba impecable, con una limpieza impecable y todos los utensilios de cocina necesarios para sentirnos como en casa. Además, ofrece accesorios súper útiles para disfrutar de la playa, como sillas, carrito de playa y sombrilla. La ubicación es inmejorable, muy cerca de la piscina y la playa, lo que hizo todo más práctico y agradable. El apartamento está perfectamente equipado, con toallas suficientes, aire acondicionado en cada habitación e incluso en la sala de estar. Todo está muy bien cuidado, lo que muestra el esmero en cada detalle. Terry fue un anfitrión excepcional, siempre atento y dispuesto a resolver cualquier duda o inquietud rápidamente. Su dedicación nos hizo sentir realmente bienvenidos. En general, una experiencia fantástica que sin duda repetiremos. Totalmente recomendado.

This is a great family rental. We came for a 5 day stay to celebrate my sister's 60th birthday, explore Costa Rica's nature resources and enjoy time as a family. All 6 of us enjoyed our stay and loved the property! The house is quite rustic but well suited for a family who wants to spend a lot of time outdoors. The outdoor kitchen, dining area and BBQ are a wonderful extension of the house. We made most of our meals. The pool was very clean and maintained and included an outdoor shower and foot rinse area. The ocean was wonderful to swim in and the beach very private with few people on it. Andres and Olga made us feel very welcome. He served us with coconuts in the pool on our first afternoon and had area restaurant recommendations for us. We later purchased a large pitcher of coconut water from him that was absolutely delicious. And it was so fun to watch the collection process! In addition, Andres let us know when the spider monkeys came on the property which delighted us!

This was such a nice experience. Juan was beyond responsive and helpful. The neighborhood is so nice to walk! Many birds and animals to see whether walking on the roads or the trails. Restaurants are a quick drive and there are many things to do close by - we hiked Rainmaker which I highly recommend. Juan owns a restaurant that we ate at 4 times in 4 days. Fresh and delicious and right on the beach. The guys in our family went fishing and 2 of the nights we brought the fish in and the chef made incredible meals for us. Our last night was a Saturday and there are surfing competitions in front of Juan’s restaurant every Saturday. He went out of his way to get us a table with the perfect view of the sunset and surfers. The home is so clean and the setup was perfect for us. We had 2 couples and 2 boys. The 3 bedrooms with a private bathroom each and access to the pool from each room was great. The pool was perfect! Highly recommend!! Thank you for a wonderful stay, Juan!!

I had a great stay at William’s place! The house was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The location was perfect and allowed us to relax and enjoy our time. William was also very responsive and friendly, which made the experience even better. I’m completely satisfied and would definitely recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a great stay!

This home over exceeded our expectations. What an amazing stay, along with the pool and property maintenance. It was a surprise trip for my girlfriend and 9 month old son which I had plans to purpose a few days after, which went absolutely perfect. 5 stars across the board! Highly HIGHLY recommend! I had a wonderful stay! The place was exactly as described – clean, comfortable, and in a great location. The host and melissa were very friendly, responsive, and made the check-in process super easy. I appreciated the thoughtful touches around the home that made it feel welcoming. Everything I needed was provided, and I had no issues at all during my stay. I would definitely recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a great experience, and I would happily stay here again!

We appreciated the proximity to the beach and the pools. The kitchen has everything you need if you want to cook a meal. The water in the apartment felt cold, but it did not bother us too much because we were hot coming from the beach. There is a shopping plaza close by, but you can get a greater variety of restaurants and stores to choose from if you drive 15-20 minutes. Overall it was a nice place to stay and we would definitely come back.

Our family of four had a great weekend at Andrea's place. The view from the 17th Floor was amazing. We had three great sunsets. From the balcony we could watch the scarlet macaws soaring from the mountains down to the beach. The Playa Esmeralda beach club was about a 5 minute walk from the apartment. It has direct beach access to Playa Manta. Our kids played all day on the beach and in the pools. We highly recommend and would return again.

Beautiful condo, loved the terrace and the view. Definitely when visiting will come back!

We really enjoyed this beautiful house in the jungle. The hosts were responsive and Ramin was a pleasure to talk to! He helped us out with lots of suggestions and recommendations. We paid for the sauna, ice bath, and mudbath, which were worth it! Tips if you intend to stay here: - Before coming up, make sure to pack food/groceries/cooking supplies to bring back to the place. It's a fairly long windy road getting back and down from the place to the main town, so sometimes you may not want to do the drive to get food - Bring earplugs if you are sensitive to noise or are a light sleeper. The bird/cicada/windchime noises can get loud - The sun rises early and sets early. There are no blackout curtains (for good reason!), so bring a sleeping eye mask if you are sensitive to light. Since it gets dark really quickly and it's a quiet zone here, you're expected to sleep quite early! - Be prepared to download offline maps and maybe even your own portable battery charger in case service cuts out

Ivonne's casita was really lovely! It is quite small, but worked for myself and my 2 teenage sons. We absolutely loved the property and the beautiful surroundings. It was very peaceful and we had fun hiking around and playing tetherball. I also greatly appreciated the washing machine, as we were in the area for a sporting event and needed to wash the athletic wear. Ivonne also helped us with a hose for washing extra things :) She and her husband were very friendly and made us feel extremely welcome. Check-in and check-out were easy and flexible.

This was a wonderful last minute spot for a midway stop on our roadtrip. I requested the cabin around 4pm, and Esteban approved it within an hour so we had a place to sleep on Easter Sunday. Thank you, Esteban! Pura Vida

El lugar está hermoso,muy tranquilo y lejos de los ruidos de la ciudad. Todo muy limpio y el dueño respondía rápido cualquier duda.... en definitiva pienso volver

Un hospedaje muy bonito y privado. El lugar estaba muy limpio y cuenta con todo lo necesario para una estadía tranquila. Perfecto para salir de la rutina.

Un lugar lleno de mucha paz con zonas verdes muy hermosas. Disfrutamos bastante de la terraza. Pudimos observar muchas aves, entre esas colibrís. Toda la cocina esta debidamente equipada. La higiene y presentación es impecable. Totalmente recomendado para alguien que quiere salir de la ciudad y tomar un descanso.
