Monthly Rentals in Podhum

We stayed 5 days in this beautiful apartment on the Istrian coast. The view and decor of the apartment were exactly as beautiful as in the pictures. Unfortunately we were there in March, so the pool wasn't filled yet and it was still too cold to take a dip. However, we could sit in the sun on the roof terrace. The apartment is located in a quiet neighborhood, the coast is within walking distance (if you can walk a bit) and by car there are many beautiful places within driving distance. We really found the kitchen and all the items to be used to be a plus, so we could also cook for a few days and eat relaxed in the apartment.

We stayed at Matthias’ place for over two months, and honestly, it was the best experience I’ve ever had with any host – hands down! Matthias is an incredible person and a truly amazing host. From day one, he made us feel completely at home. He provided us with all the essential information we needed, gave us a winter pass for free museum visits (which was a game-changer!). His local insights and warm personality made our stay unforgettable. I genuinely hope we can stay friends in the future – Matthias is that kind of person you want to keep in your life. The apartment itself? Absolute perfection. It’s located at one of the highest points in Rijeka, which means you get a breathtaking panoramic view of the city and the port. Every morning felt like waking up in a postcard – seriously, the view alone is worth the stay! But it’s not just about the view or the location – it’s the feeling of being welcome

Probably the best apartment we've ever been to. The hosts have been extremely friendly and accommodating, the apartment is very very nicely decorated and very well appointed. We will definitely come back if we travel to the Grobnik Automotodrom again.

My stay at Korina's place was absolutely wonderful! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. Korina is an exceptionally hospitable and friendly host who takes care of every detail to ensure her guests are comfortable. The apartment was clean, cozy, and well-equipped, and the location was perfect—close to everything we needed. Korina and her family were incredibly warm, and during our stay, they treated my girlfriend and me to a local drink and delicious food, which was a lovely gesture and allowed us to experience the true spirit of the area. Korina was always available to answer questions and offer helpful tips about the neighborhood. This place definitely exceeded our expectations, and we are eager to return at the next opportunity. Highly recommend!
