This chalet is also a scenic, 15 minute drive to Lake Placid. This charming A-frame is picturesque and reminiscent to the setting of a hallmark movie. This is a unique rustic cabin on a private dirt road nestled on a mountain brook in the forest adjoining the Giant Mountain Wilderness Area. This small (200 sq ft + 80 sq ft sleeping loft), Adirondack style cabin was completely refurbished this past year using locally sourced woods and built by hand. Located two miles from downtown Keene Valley, and at 1800 feet, this is an ideal place for those who prefer the quiet forest, the peaceful sound of a mountain brook, and possibily seeing animals.

Step back in time and enjoy almost 600' of lake shore on Vermont's unique Lake Champlain with 180 degree views, from westerly views to New York's Adirondacks, through the north and east to Vermont's Green Mountains. This private site is 2 acres with mature trees, meadows, and wooded buffers, ensuring a peaceful and private stay. There are two cottages available; they can be rented separately or together. Each is one bedroom with private bath.

Our cabin is a studio with a hot tub & all the amenities. A queen bed, linens, towels, small refrigerator/freezer, microwave, single burner cook plate, dishes, utensils, glassware, pots & pans, toaster & coffee maker. Roku Tv & dvd player with movies. The cabin's bathroom is simular to a cruise ship, you step up into your shower. There is also an private outdoor shower. There is a fire pit with an attached grill & hibachi. We have a garden area & privacy fence between our home & the cabin.

Hikers Base Camp Cabin

Newly renovated building on 52 private acres with nice walking trails. Overlooks small trout stream and active beaver pond. Located at the Northeastern entrance to the Adirondack Park, we are conveniently placed to begin an ADK adventure. We are familiar with most of the trailheads and are on site to help in any way we can. We do not allow campfires on the property because of the high fire risk.

Cozy Cabin

Cabin located across from Macomb State Park providing access to cross country skiing. 30 minute drive to Whiteface Mt. Ski Area. Sleeps 4 with 2 twins and a double in upstairs loft. Fully furnished kitchen, bath with shower. Quiet space. No smoking indoors. No cats. Dogs allowed but must be well behaved and stay off of the furniture and bedding. Check-in @ 3 PM and beyond. Checkout at 11 AM.

Four miles to Chazy Lake Beach or to the Chateaugay Lake Boat Launch. Hike the beautiful Lyon Mountain to the fire tower. Hike is 7.1 miles. One hour to Lake Placid and Montreal.
