Vacation rentals with breakfast in Polonnaruwa

Binara is a very friendly host who has fulfilled every one of our wishes: he gave us an unforgettable trip to the bird island, drove us to the meeting point and picked us up again, he rented us bikes for the trip to the temple city at a very reasonable price and gave us a driver to the east coast at short notice because ours had jumped off. The whole family is totally likeable, the food delicious, the rooms wonderful. Watching the day awakening from the balcony and looking out into the quiet garden full of palm trees is a wonderful experience. For the accommodation there is a 100% recommendation from us.

The communication was top notch. Pretty amiable host. Very helpful to us. Recommended all the good things for us. And, The location is far from sigiriya lion rock. So it was a bit exhausting. Overall a Good Experience.

Inoka & her family were very friendly, warm & hospitable, and helped me with all aspects of my stay, including picking me up from the local train station when I arrived late in the evening.

Gayan's parents were lovely, they were kind, generous and very accommodating. It was the perfect spot for us. They had parking, was clean, had a net, was central to all tourist locations, gave us local tips, provided a delicious breakfast and were in general very lovely. Cannot recommend this more.

Amith’s place was the perfect sanctuary after a long hike. It has a private pool and also an incredible lush veranda. We were greeted with fresh juice when we arrived which was lovely and the breakfast the next day was perfect! It was also located conveniently near a strip of restaurants where we had dinner in the evening. On top of it all Amith was such a great host, super helpful and kind with a lovely family.

Our stay at Thilinas Homestay was perfect. We felt like a part of the family from the first pickup until the checkout. We didn’t have to worry about anything. Thilina provided a lot of information, planned our whole stay with all activities and organised every transportation for us. We would recommend this Homestay for everyone who wants to get to know the life in Sri Lanka a little better. Thank you for everything.

We highly recommend staying with Salinda and his family, they are very friendly and helpful, they offered us a very good breakfast and dinner, they provided equipment to wash clothes after safari, which in the way they organize at a good price, so I recommend using the service. The rooms were clean, the air conditioning worked flawlessly.

The Treehouse was a lovely break from city life however still local enough that in 10 minutes you had shops and restaurants. The treehouse itself was absolutely lovely & we really enjoyed it. Prepare yourself to embrace every part of nature, I know it can’t be avoided due to location and venue however be ready for ants !!!!& don’t forget your bug spray
