Treehouse vacation rentals in Polonnaruwa

We had a great stay here for one night. A great little tree house in the jungle. Amazing hosts, 2 lovely dogs and some great food cooked for us. There's a great place nearby too watch the sunset while overlooking Sigiriya and other mountains in the distance. Highly recommended!

My husband, my two children and I slept in a tree house with no walls in the middle of the jungle. It was our first stay in Sri Lanka and an amazing, unforgettable experience. The staff was very friendly. We loved everything. Thank you for hosting us.

Der Balkon, von dem aus man den Morgen beginnen konnte, war ein absoluter Höhepunkt – es war so schön, dort zu sitzen, den ersten Kaffee zu trinken und dabei den Eichhörnchen zuzusehen, wie sie von Baum zu Baum sprangen. Die Vögel kamen ebenfalls oft zu Besuch, besonders während des Frühstücks. Die Umgebung war ruhig und idyllisch – genau das, was wir uns für eine Auszeit vom Alltag gewünscht hatten. Wir haben auch einige Safari-Touren unternommen, und es war ein fantastisches Erlebnis, so nah an der Natur zu sein. Was uns besonders gefallen hat, war die Gastfreundschaft der Menschen vor Ort. Der Aufenthalt war sehr sehr schön! Das Schlafen im Baumhaus hat uns viel Spaß gemacht und das Essen war sehr sehr lecker! Wir würden immer wieder kommen! 😊

What can I say. Amazing 😁. This was the perfect place to spend the final couple of days of our holiday. The tree house was incredible and managed to be comfortable despite being open to the jungle. We were a bit concerned beforehand about the lack of aircon, as well as insects, but neither proved to be a problem and it was so atmospheric waking up to the sounds of the jungle all around. Breakfast and dinners were great, served promptly with friendly service. Be mindful to bring your own beers, etc with you if you want as alcohol is not available on site and it’s a bit of a trek back into the town. We were able to walk up Pidurangala Rock when we arrived to see the sunset - a really fun scramble up some rocks at the end for a magical experience at the top. We would highly recommend this place.

The Treehouse was a lovely break from city life however still local enough that in 10 minutes you had shops and restaurants. The treehouse itself was absolutely lovely & we really enjoyed it. Prepare yourself to embrace every part of nature, I know it can’t be avoided due to location and venue however be ready for ants !!!!& don’t forget your bug spray

Back of Beyond war echt ein super Baumhaus inmitten vom Dschungel. Die Geräusche der Flora und Fauna bei Nacht sowie Tags waren beeindruckend. Auch das ein Affe versuchte einen unserer Rucksäcke durchzusuchen wird immer eine lustige Anekdote bleiben. Das Personal ist super freundlich und überaus zuvorkommend. Die Lage des Baumhauses ist perfekt, man kann den Piduranga-Felsen in 5min zu Fuß erreichen. Für Sigiriya würde ich ein Tuktuk empfehlen. Alles in allem war es ein wunderschönes Erlebnis, dass ich jederzeit weiterempfehlen werde.

Nous avons vécu une incroyable expérience dans la jungle. Le site est accessible en 4x4 sur une piste à 6km de la route principale, nous avons eu la chance d’avoir croisé un éléphant sur le chemin! L’accueil de Nimalsiri et de son équipe a été très chaleureux, ils ont été aux petits soins pour que nous ne manquions de rien. Les cabanes sont juste incroyables, nous dormions dans des moustiquaires au milieu des sons nocturnes des animaux. L’environnement est magnifique et les repas sont excellents. Nos enfants n’oublierons jamais leur séjour au coeur de la jungle.

We loved staying here. It was really back of beyond. Surrounded by really beautiful countryside it was a really relaxing stay. The staff looked after us really well, and were so helpful, and the food was fantastic. Just the place to stay if you want to get away and escape to the countryside.
