Family-friendly vacation rentals in Pomena

Wir waren als Familie mit zwei Jungs und einem Mädchen dort. Wir hatten die Unterkunft ausgewählt wegen des Pools und des Whirlpools, falls schlechtes Wetter sein würde. Als dies leider für 3 Tage der Fall war, konnten wir in den Pool (26 Grad beheizt) und auch in die Sauna sowie den 28 Grad warmen Whirlpool und es uns gemütlich machen. Um die Jahreszeit kurz vor Ostern waren nur 2 Restaurants geöffnet, so dass wir auch selbst gekocht haben. Jurica ist sehr freundlich und hat stets geholfen, wenn irgendeine Frage bei uns aufkam. Die Taxipreise auf der Insel sind hoch. Wir waren ohne Auto da, dennoch konnte man alles erreichen mit dem Bus. Den Tagesausflug nach Bol sollte man sonntags machen, die Fähre von Jelsa fährt da erst mittags los. Am Gründonnerstag war die abendliche Prozession beeindruckend, das Kreuz wird über Nacht durch alle Dörfer getragen. Im Sommer wird es sicher voll sein, dennoch wird das Haus von Jurica, ruhig gelegen, Erholung und Abkühlung bieten. Vielen Dank!

We loved staying at Slaven’s place near Vela Luka. It was an amazing, tranquil location with no one else around. The best part was swimming in the crystal clear water right next to the house. Like other reviewers have said - we’d love to keep this special place secret. Korcula is a beautiful island and the old town is absolutely stunning. We loved that due to the islands remote location the island remains fairly quiet even in the height of summer. Slaven was an absolutely fantastic host and really made us feel welcome. We can’t recommend this location enough!

This was an idyllic place to stay. Very private and in beautiful surroundings with an amazing view. Beti’s mum met us off the ferry and made us feel right at home with homemade cake and lemonade with lemons from the garden. We would definitely recommend this place and would return again. Unfortunately we were there when the only supermarket on the island was closed for 4 days so we had to eat out for every meal which was expensive. Next time we would plan ahead and take supplies with us. We enjoyed some lovely walks along the coastline and over to the main beach. The apartment was minutes from the seafront.

Frano hat immer sehr schnell auf Anfragen geantwortet. Auf Anfrage für zusätzliche Babybetten und Kinderstühle wurde sofort eingegangen und es hatte alles was man sich wünschen konnte vor Ort. Die Gastfreundschaft von Frano und seiner Familie sind hervorragend, wir wurden mit Früchten und Eiern aus ihrem Besitz versorgt und Frano war immer wieder anwesend und hat sich um die Anlage (Pool etc.) gekümmert. Wir wurden von der Fähre abgeholt und am Abreisetag auch wieder mit dem Privatauto zum Hafen geführt. Es steckt sehr viel Herz in der Wohnung aber auch in der Betreuung ihrer Feriengäste. Wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an wohl gefühlt und können die Unterkunft, wie auch Ferien bei Frano von ganzem Herzen weiterempfehlen.

Schöne Unterkunft, gut ausgestattet und tolle Aussicht. Beheizbarer Whirlpool ist ein klares Plus, auch wenn das Wetter mal schlecht ist. Jedes Schlafzimmer hat ein eigenes Bad. Sehr guter Standard!

Logement enchanteur, que nous recommandons chaudement. Très calme et très agréable, à quelques encablures des lacs. Accueil impeccable - Ivan est un hôte réactif et sympathique. Seul regret: ne pas être restés plus longtemps!

A must-stay! We enjoyed our time very much at this house. For one week we were living like royalties (it felt like). A wonderful pool, our own barbecue place and such a spacious villa. Beautiful trails right outside the house and the most amazing view. In addition Josko and his wife were excellent hosts, beyond what you can expect. Cannot brag about this place enough!

My whole family was obsessed with this place. The adults loved the beautiful scenery and the peacefulness and the kids loved the hot tub and the swings. The house is adorable and very nice and the views were even better than the pictures. We loved meandering around Humac and being close to so many interesting small villages to explore. If you are looking for a peaceful retreat on the island of Hvar, you will be hard pressed to find something better than Mario’s place.

Loved our stay here! The apartment is in a lovely peaceful area close to the beach and only a 10 minute walk from the ferry port. The apartment itself was very comfortable, clean and well equipped, with the outdoor terrace being a real bonus. Thank you for being so accommodating!

The apartment was spotless and communication before and during our stay excellent. The morning coffee and evening drink on the balcony overlooking the town and port was lovely. As we arrived earlier than check in it was nice being told to come and drop bags and sit by the pool. As it turned out the room was ready which was great. On our last day we were again offered the opportunity to check out late as our ferry was until the afternoon. Highly recommended

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. L’appartement est au calme avec une belle vue sur la mer. Logement propre et bien équipé. Les enfants ont adoré la piscine. Ana et sa famille sont super gentils et toujours disponibles si besoin.

I'll be dreaming of Mrčara for the rest of my life. This place is what resorts try to be. You'll likely be taking every mode of transportation to get here, from your flight, to a car or bus, onto a ferry, finally a smaller dingy—it's worth the journey. The island itself is beautiful, the house nicer than the description, the water clearer than your imagination. But truly, Kreso and Tanya are wonderful hosts, creating an environment for a *REAL* vacation. (Love Denis & the dogs.) Breakfast & dinner are ready at set times, so the only thing to do in between is play. You play until dinner is ready. You don't even order, everything is taken care of for you. One moment you're kayaking in an old submarine hideout, then (after showering and drying off) you sit down on a cushion for dinner at 6, and then chat with other guests till 1 or 2 am. The restaurant seats 8, perhaps the most exclusive in the world! Three nights is about the shortest you'd want to stay, plan for more if you can.

Très bon séjour près de la ville et de la plage Juste l accès à la maison est surprenant car il faut prendre une grande montée pour arriver sur le lieu mais par contre l endroit est très très calme C est un endroit où je retournerai sans aucun problème 😍

I had a fantastic time with family. Our kids loved the private beach. Kids loved the beach so much that they did not allow us to explore anything else in the island. As we went there before the actual season starts, not much to do in the island- so recommendation is to plan a trip during the season. Overall- we had a great vacation.

The host family was very kind and always ready to help. Luka's place is really nice and big! The apartment was fully equipped, really spacious and perfectly clean! There's also a big terrace which we were using for the whole vacation. The place is very close to the sea, the nearest beach is just one minute on foot. The second beach is concrete and about 3 minutes far and never overcrowded. The sea is super clear with easy access. There are two markets, green-grocery, three cafes/restaurants, bakery and three ATM's in the neighbourhood. It is also possible to rent a bike, e-bike or four-wheeler. There are many nice cycle routes in the countryside and nice running tracks (from 10 to 20 kilometres). We would highly recommend this place to everyone.

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable. L’endroit est intime mais reste proche des lieux d’activité touristique. Le vrai plus de ce bien c’est sa vue exceptionnel sur la mer et le couché de soleil

le séjour était super, le lieu est vraiment magnifique dans un lieu qui appelle au ressourcement. l'hôte sur place est très gentille et aux petits soins de tous. je recommande vivement a tous ceux qui souhaitent prendre un peu de temps au calme et dans la nature.

fantastic stay at Bebas place in Stollac. Apartment was lovely with everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. amazingly well kept garden and pool area. a great location for visiting the town and nearby areas. nice walking routes from the house. thoroughly recommend xx

Piękne i spokojne miejsce, cisza i bezpieczeństwo. Nocą piękne widoki nieba oraz sen na tarasie. Dobre miejsce wypadowe na zwiedzanie wyspy. Posiadłość spełniła nasze oczekiwania. Dziękujemy Fani.

We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The house was exactly as described – clean, cozy, and equipped with everything we needed. The location was perfect, close to local attractions and in a quiet, peaceful area. The host was very friendly and quick to respond to any questions we had, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great getaway!

Geweldig, zeer verzorgd appartement met privezwembadje. Echt een aanrader. Heel vriendelijke ontvangst. Je kunt beter aan het begin van het straatje parkeren, omdat deze heel smal is en je er nauwelijks kan draaien.

Hele mooi en rustige plek huis is zo warm ingericht we vonden het zoo leuk netjes schoon we hebben erg genoten en meneer mili ook zo vriendelijk en aardig.

What a truly fabulous stay we had at Mia’s. Great apartment with a beautiful pool which is shared with just one other apartment, fell like it was our private pool. Mia and also her parents live in the 2 apartments below, and they couldn’t have been nicer to us. Mia’s dad Roko was like a doting grandfather to our 5 year old daughter, bringing her grapes from their own vines or fresh watermelon. Happy to setup their own bbq for us to cook on. They made our stay that but more special. The location is great, just a 10 minute walk down into Supetar town and to the beach. I hope to go back to Brac in the future, and if we do, we will definitely be staying here again! 😊

We had a great stay at this amazing place, just above Bol town but an easy stroll there. We would definitely consider this olace again next time in Croatia!!
