What drew us to choosing Elenny's place over others was the description of "Relax & Heal Cottage Near Ocean & Forest Retreat" -mostly the 'relax & heal' bit. We came down to attend a dear friend's funeral and were hoping to find a place to stay that would truly provide us with the simple yet profound healing and relaxing elements the area has to offer. The best lodging at the most gorgeous setting with the nicest hosts. The rental itself is top-notch, with plenty of well-designed space and thoughtful amenities. The location is just as beautiful as the photos, surrounded by picture-perfect views of the water. Immaculately clean. The hosts are terrific people, with good communication ahead of time and responsiveness to even my dumbest of questions. Poquoson itself is a cute little town, accessible to everything in the Hampton Roads area. We were there for a family event but it would be an ideal home-base for anyone coming to this part of Virginia. Book with confidence. I’m not an experience AirBnB user and this was just perfect.
