ORV trails just down the road! You'll be more than comfortable in this up to date modern 3 bedroom home, with fully equipped kitchen, laundry on site, and 1 and a half sparkling clean bathrooms! The House Next Door has a Northwoods feel while being in town and close to your likely destination. Just four blocks from downtown Ironwood, and in the heart of all the outdoor adventure the Gogebic Range has to offer. You'll love the warm cozy feel, and the ability to mingle in the open concept lr/dr/kitchen downstairs, or retreat upstairs for a quiet, peaceful setting. Individuals, couples, families, and up to eight friends would enjoy my place, provided you can live with one bathroom.

Located on a dead-end gravel road, 1.5 miles to hard surface road. There is a house behind the cottage where one person lives. Construction completed in 2020, has a deck, a 2-acre pond, 15 acres cleared, woods to wander in, walking distance to Otter River, 19 miles to Houghton, 13 miles to Baraga on Lake Superior. Pricing is per bedroom, base price $125.00 for first bedroom for 1-2 guests per night, and an additional $75.00 for second bedroom per night when there will be 3-4 guests.

We have had many guests visit the sea caves in Cornucopia, spend the day in Bayfield, or hike the Porcupine Mountains. Lake Superior is about 5 miles to the north, Lake Gogebic is 12 miles to the south. The Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park is 9 miles away along Lake Superior, offering skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, hiking and waterfalls.

Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located place. Super easy to find right off US2. Close to any and all adventures in the area. There are 2 separate bedrooms and a pull out bed in the couch if needed. Fully stocked kitchen, extra blankets and pillows, games and a kids version of pool, air hockey, and foosball table in the basement.
