Blue Lagoon 4x4 Cottage

AdrianRating, 5 stars5 days ago
A lovely place to stay, simple but comfortable with a great view, and very safe. The people are friendly and the fact that the place like the others around is dependent on rainwater made us realise how easy it is to use water sparingly and to reuse it for other purposes. Everything we needed was provided. The roads require at least a high-rise vehicle with diff lock. The estuary and beach are a short distance from the place. The area has some nice walks, and we visited other scenic destinations (including beaches) within a hour’s slow drive. We hope to return some day.

one of the few HOSTS that are so loving and helpful. She made sure i enjoyed my stay and she was open for any input and always ready to assist. She kept checking my comfortability and if i needed anything. You get worth more of service that goes beyond the fees charged.

Seaview cottage Amapondo Backpackers Lodge

ChristelRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Natalie, George and their staff all contributed to make our visit unforgettable. Natalie adjusted our dates and gave alternatives when we experienced car troubles. George acted as our personal tour guide and showed us gems off the beaten paths. The staff is friendly, eager to assist and the facilities are extremely clean. No need to even take food with: the food is superb, portions fulfilling and pricing fair. We all have Pondo-fever after this visit: wish we could stay even longer. Thank you to the whole AmaPondo family

I recently had the pleasure of staying in an Airbnb that exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I could tell that this was going to be a great experience. The Airbnb was located in a charming neighborhood, just a short walk from shops and attractions in the city. Upon arrival, I was greeted by my host, who was incredibly warm and welcoming. He showed me around the apartment, which was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The apartment itself was spacious and comfortable, with all the amenities I could need for my stay. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything I needed. The bed was comfortable and I slept well every night thanks to the peaceful surroundings. One of the standout features of this Airbnb was the attention to detail. Overall, I would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient and all-around amazing stay. Thank you to my host for making my stay so enjoyable!

Whale House at Mdumbi Backpackers

JennaRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Wow wow wow what a hidden gem. This little house was so perfect, it's even more beautiful in person than in the photos. There are such friendly people all around you. The beach is a short walk and so worth it, it was so private and peaceful even in the middle of December. The house had plenty of space and everything you could ever need, the inside outside feel really was something quite special. Mdumbi is also a really organised backpackers with a lovely cafe/restaurant and delicious dinners, when the other backpackers we'd gone to visit had run out of food. We will definitely be back again soon!
