Amy was excellent at communicating and helping me out with several things, including a food delivery. Thanks so much for the bottle of Prosecco and birthday card- lovely touch. Perfect location for my favourite place - the lady falls and an easy drive to pen y fan. So good to have the hot tub to relax in and the dome was gorgeous for morning coffee.

We had a fantastic stay in the Brecon Beacons for the Easter holiday. Clare was a very welcoming host who provided easy to follow directions and a very hospitable welcome including fine cake and prosecco. The accommodation was exactly what we wanted with all the amenities described including gym and hot tub. The home is very well located for walking, it is even possible to walk to Pen y Fan directly from the house! A special thanks to her son-in-law T who was very helpful and enjoyable company!

Sarah was very quick at responding to any enquiries I had and was always on Hand to give very helpful information regarding our stay. The location is very remote and absolutely beautiful, I would definitely recommend using the what3words app as this took me right to the doortstep, it may have been difficult to find using a standard satnav but totally worth it for the peace and the views!! The property was pristine and stocked with everything you can think of for your stay excluding food. There was a Asda express nearby so we could top up on essentials and the nearest town was less than 10 minutes away however we didn’t stay long enough to check this out, the house comes with a whole pinboard of leaflets giving plenty of options for local things to do. We would definitely return!! Thanks :)

We had an amazing stay at Dave’s place, we were able to have an early check in and a late checkout. Dave was super responsive before and during our stay and we had everything that we needed and the best part is that there was enough space for the whole family and the dogs loved roaming around the private and secure garden. We absolutely loved our stay & we would be back again in a heartbeat! ❤️

Shepherd’s Rest was absolutely perfect. Miles from anywhere, it was so peaceful. One of those magical places where you can’t hear any roads and a real chance to get away from it all. The house and location are both absolutely stunning and the wood fired hot tub was the icing on the cake. We booked it for my Dad’s 70th and we all loved it. Thank you Sandra!

The stay with Jan & Richard was nothing short of exceptional! I have stayed at quite a few cottages/lodges especially in Wales with my border collie however, Belle Vue Cottage was by far the best! The views alone from your cottage & hot tub are sensational, very secluded & peaceful and the hot tub was amazing! The cottage has everything you need & Jan & Richard were super friendly & helpful listing all the amazing places to see nearby! There are so many amazing places nearby to see like the Pistyll Rhaeadr Waterfall which has incredible views & is only a 15 minute drive. Also Llyn Vyrnwy Dam which is only a 20 minute drive with amazing views & is very close to the Rhiwagor Waterfall my favourite place to visit of the stay, the views are sensational & amazing for my collie who loved going for a swim! Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience or better hosts & I am already planning on visiting again soon! Thank you so much Rich & Jan for an incredible stay!

Karl was a great host and responded very quickly. He was waiting to meet us when we arrived, very welcoming and showed us around and how everything worked. House was great and surprisingly big, much more spacious than the pictures do it justice! Had everything inside that we needed and was very quiet and private. Garden is secure unless, like my dog, they're keen to jump fences!! Beds were super comfy and we got a great night sleep every night. Loads of walking nearby and a great base to explore the Elan Valley and local town, both of which are lovely. Thank you very much, we were sad to leave as we had a great time!

We had a fantastic stay! The property is dog-friendly, which was perfect for us-our dog loved pottering around the secure garden, and we felt totally at ease knowing he was safe. The views from every window are absolutely stunning, and the whole place was spotless, cosy, and very comfortable. The welcome pack and fresh flowers were such a thoughtful touch and made us feel right at home. Emma is an amazing host. Highly recommend this gem of a place!

We were only here for 2 nights but would have loved to stay longer. Stacie & Helen gave very clear instructions to help us get to the right address . The place was cozy and comfortable and had everything we needed. They were so kind to bake us a cake while we were there!

Wonderful long weekend at Flagstone Cottage, the most peaceful place we’ve ever been, no car noises whatsoever and beautiful scenery. Cottage was exactly as described. We asked for the BBQ to come back out and Clare actually brought out all the outside furniture for us to use which was a nice surprise when we got back from our day trip. Our 5yo daughter loved the mezzanine bedroom and being able to have multiple baths a day (we only have a shower at home). The walk from Llanthony Priory up Hatterhall hill is amazing and the pint in the priory grounds at the end was very scenic and rewarding! Hay-On-Wye is well worth a visit, Abergavenny also.

This is a special cottage in a special location. We really enjoyed staying here; it was very peaceful and in a beautiful setting, perfect for getting away from it all. There was plenty of space for us to spread out and do different things. The games room and the cinema barn were a real bonus for our teenagers. The cosy sitting rooms were lovely in the evening to either watch T.V. or do jigsaw puzzles. There are lovely hills to climb with plenty of views. The dog was happy playing ball in the enclosed garden. A few cheeky sheep managed to squeeze their way into the garden from the field behind, but were soon barricaded out again! The beds were comfy and the cottage is so quiet and dark at night, we slept really well - good for star gazing. It isn't far to the sea by main road or over the mountains. We didn't want to leave - we'll definitely be back. Thanks so much!

What a perfect stay! Jo’s place was lovely, it had everything you could need. Was quiet, peaceful, exactly as described. Jo’s guide to the place was so thorough and very helpful. We went on some lovely walks in the area - great location, can get to some really great spots without driving. Will come again :)

Lovely small cottage in outskirts of Dolgellau, short distance on foot from riverside walks, and close by car to glorious mountain hiking.

What a lovely stay we had at Rachel’s place! Wisteria cottage and the rest of their property is gorgeous and they put so much care and attention into it. The cottage was clean, adorable, peaceful and quiet and we would absolutely stay here again. Thank you for your hospitality!

Such a special place! We absolutely loved the cottage and its beautiful surroundings. There is so much to explore nearby - wonderful walks begin just a short drive away, or you can even start right from the cottage. Whether you are out discovering the area or simply relaxing in front of the fire, it is the perfect escape. I can’t recommend it highly enough and would definitely love to return! Beyond impressed from start to finish. We were greeted by Tony who showed us round the property, he also took time to help us to set up the fire inside which was incredibly kind! Both Tony and Ed gave us some incredible recommendations which we were really pleased we did! The cabin was spotless and the bed was the comfiest we’d ever slept in! In a great location with easy access to a variety of areas, Snowdon, Abersoch etc. The cats were all beautiful! We would highly recommend and we will definitely be back! We had a great stay here over the Easter weekend. John and Paul have put a lot of thought and care into restoring the cottage and we especially enjoyed looking at the before and after photos! Amazing accommodation and fantastic hiking and exploring in the local area. Definitely recommended!
