2-bed cottage/wood stove/garden/BBQ/pizza oven

MalcolmRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Abbie's place was comfortable with two rooms with double beds. Very well-appointed and cosy. Abbie was immediately responsive to messages (no issues, rest assured!) and helpful with recommendations. Great little town and handy for hiking in the Beacons. I would go back without hesitation. Oh, and the bowl of Quality Street chocolates was a lovely touch.

Country Hall for family gatherings and groups!

MarionRating, 5 stars3 months ago
We had a wonderful 5 day stay over October half-term for a family get-together. There were 11 of us altogether from grandparents down to grandchildren. The Hall is impressive and the views across the countryside are beautiful. We were lucky with the weather and enjoyed exploring the grounds, watching the alpacas and visiting Elan Valley. The kitchen is well equipped for catering for large groups and there was no problem organising supermarket food deliveries. All the rooms are nicely furnished and everything was spotlessly clean. All three bathrooms have baths, two also have good showers. The house is huge but the radiators keep the rooms warm and with the woodburners going in the evening in the entrance hall and the large lounge we were all toasty warm. Wood and kindling is thoughtfully provided. The games room was a hit with the children, especially the pool table. Clare met us on arrival and showed us around the house and answered any queries we had during the week.

Brecon Beacons Getaway for Two

CharlotteRating, 5 stars4 months ago
I loved everything about this place, the bed was very comfy and the location was perfect. The bath and shower are wonderful and so is the soap and shower gel and linens available. I loved the eco friendly toilet paper too. Two points to note: there was no chopping board I could see? Fortunately most of my food was already prepared so it was not a big deal. And I believe it is the hot water tank that makes a noise intermittently? So, if you're a light sleeper like me, you'll need ear plugs despite being in very quiet and peaceful countryside. I loved my stay here it was very special and I would stay again when visiting the brecons!

Brecon Beacons. Lovely cottage with stunning views

HelenRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We enjoyed a lovely few days at Dominie’s cottage (2 adults and 2 young children). Plenty of walks from cottage or a short drive away. Village with lovely little cafe a 15 minute walk. Super cosy cottage with wood burner and open fire. Ideal for a few days away or more to enjoy Crickhowell and Brecon Beacons!

Waterfall Lodge - Brecon Beacons

RobynRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We had a great stay at the lovely Canyon Cottage, ideally located on the doorstep of Dinas Rocks. Peter answered our questions without delay (prior to our visit), and nothing was too much trouble. Due to work being done to the roof of Waterfall Lodge, Peter moved our booking across to Canyon Cottage after checking we were happy to do so. The cottage is well equipped with everything you need, including WiFi, TVs in both the living- and main bedroom, board games and a cozy wood burner (for which there is fire wood available, for a small fee). There are a couple of pubs within walking distance, which allow dogs. Our stay was made extra special by a Christmas tree in the livingroom and decorations above the fireplace. It was my first visit to Brecon (my partner is originally from S Wales) and was definitely a memorable one. We would definitely visit again and would happily recommend this AirBnB to anyone visiting Brecon and the Waterfall Country. Thank you ever so much Peter & Lydia!

Kiln Farm, a Canal side retreat

MatthewRating, 5 stars2 months ago
If you want a relaxing getaway in beautiful surroundings then this is the best place in the area to stay! We were a group of 6 plus 1 dog and it was more than big enough, with a large kitchen for breakfasts and dinners and a great sized lounge to relax by the fire and play games. The canal right on the doorstep was amazing to walk along. We walked for a few miles along the pathway and it's incredibly peaceful and scenic (recommend stopping at The Star pub for a drink!). The flexibility on checking out really helped our group as well. Overall, couldn't recommend this stay enough!

JoeRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Had a wonderful stay in the cottage, felt right at home. The log burner was very welcome. Jan was a great host, had to extend my stay due to the storm and she was very accommodating. Would definitely stay there again when Im back up that way. 10/10

Cosy apartment in Dolgellau

SandyRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
This is the second time we have stayed here. We come to Dollgellau to visit friends. We will always choose this accomodation as it is just perfect for us. Run by a local family who are extremely friendly, without being instrusive. There are steps up to the accomodation, but they have decent grip for when it is icy. There is a little log burner, but we haven't used it as they ate very generous with the heating. The bed is soooo comfortable. Very dog friendly, however, really clean. I couldn't recommend it high enough. 10 stars not five.

A comfy, well equipped space in the Brecon Beacons

ArchyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a wonderful snowy stay in Llanbedr, with some biking and running in the hills. Enjoyed meeting Lizzie & her neighbours and appreciated being able to stay a little longer whilst lane thawed! The cottage was very cosy and had everything we needed (thanks for the mince pies!) Also really enjoyed a Sunday lunch at the Dragon's Head - lovely spot!

What a beautiful little stay we had here, it's perfect for a getaway. Everything from Siwans responsive reply to messages to the small details for the host to go above and beyond, was great. Would definitely recommend & will most likely return next year as we ended up leaving engaged 💍..

Waterfall Country Escape Entire Venue Sleeps 19

LottieRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Great space for a large group. This was our second time booking the pub, this time with 18 people. Great social space and large kitchen. It is a bit of a squeeze with over 12 people as there’s not enough space around the table but we managed, just something to note if this would bother you. Would book again. We visited nearby laser tag wales which was good fun.

Golden Lions Den

EllieRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Maxine’s apartment is just lovely - warm, spotlessly clean, cosy, has everything you could ever need for a break away from home. All the little extras (Christmas decorations, a welcome basket with breakfast bits, logs & kindling, bathroom essentials) were such a nice surprise and made us feel so welcome and comfortable. The views from the bedroom and kitchen were gorgeous, and the living room also has a glimpse of hills behind the houses. Thank you so much Maxine!

Had a lovely family weekend here. The place is spacious and clean. If there was an issue, Michaela sorted it so quickly and was amazingly communicative and helpful. The pub downstairs was lovely and we had a great meal there on Friday, thank you for a great stay!
