There are no other guests on the property. There are beautiful walks on the doorstep with a Medieval Millhouse on the Charente river 300 metres away and chemins stretching for miles around the area. The beautiful old Abbey Town of Charroux is 8 Kms distant and we are within half an hour of Civray, Ruffec & Confolens.

Whether you are a couple, with family or on a business trip, this apartment will make you have a pleasant stay. It consists of a double bedroom and a single bedroom equipped with a changing table. In the living room you will find the table where you can savor the dishes cooked in the equipped kitchen located next door. In the cupboards, you will find enough to keep young and old busy with board games etc. The accommodation is equipped with fiber optic internet, Wi-Fi is free.

Thanks to the authentic, thick natural stone walls, it stays wonderfully cool in the summer. Towels, bedding and kitchen towels are already ready for you, and you are welcome to make free use of our garden and natural swimming pond. And of course: everyone is welcome with us. In a protected, hilly and wooded environment of Charente Limousine, traditional Charentaise house, fully restored, located in a one-hectare park. Large family room of 50 m2. Large stone terrace shaded by an umbrella pine. Wood-burning stove in the living room. Located on the edge of the village with direct access to the trails. Ideal setting for athletes and/or families who want to enjoy nature and animals: Horses, sheep, chickens are present on the property.

The beautifully restored gite lies in the heart of the country but is close to the lovely historic village of Verteuil, one of the prettiest in Charente, dominated by a magnificent chateau with restaurants, wine cellar, and a small Sunday market. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Large, recently renovated comfortable 2 bedroom gite in the beautiful countryside of Vienne. The gite is set among rolling fields with lots of outdoor spaces and seating area on your own private veranda equipped with bbq. In a wonderful area with lots of opportunities for walking, cycling and kayaking. Nearby village has bakeries, cafes, bar and weekly market.

The accommodation is located next to the village square so easy to park (see photos). Secure box to pick up keys, if late arrival. 15 min from the Vigeant circuit, 25 min from Civaux, 25 min from the Valley of the Monkeys, 45 min from Poitiers + possibility of Terra Aventura.
