The lake is a 4 min drive which hosts the best trout fishing on Mainland Australia.
“Great place in a lovely spot. Little bit of snow the weekend we stayed, and we were lucky to see lots of wildlife as well. Lovely house with everything we needed. Very warm, and great tips for local activities. We had such a lovely time, and hoping to be back again.”
My place is close to The Snowy Mountain parks and lakes. You’ll love it for the fishing, skiing, walking and bicycle tours, horse riding and general outdoors adventures. It's a beautiful, quiet spot for couples, families, and furry friends. Pet friendly. Fully self contained – just bring your own sheets, slips and towels! The shops are a short walk away with a great pub, good supermarket, bakery, cafe, club, fishing tackle, ski hire and park passes all available in town. Great Opp Shop!
“Absolutely charming country home, rustic style and touches of glamour. Fireplaces kept us warm with wood provided and very comfy beds (byo linen). School playground just around the corner was a huge hit for kids after day skiing and exploring thermal pools in natiomal park nearby. They also loved feeding birds with seed provided and waking up to colorful parrots at their windows. Highly recommended!!”
Newly renovated 2 bedroom country styled cottage located in Adaminaby. With a new kitchen, lounge, dining and bedrooms you will be toasty warm by the combustion wood fire. The Perfect location for skiing, bush walking, fishing or hiking across the many areas in the National Park. As we are sheep and cattle farmers, there may be the opportunity to visit the farm for sheep and cattle feeding sessions, prior arrangement is a must. We look forward to hosting you at Pud’s Place.
“Pud's Place is spacious and comfortable, a great place to stay in Adaminaby. We really appreciated the story behind the place, its former own "Pud", and its links with old Adaminaby. The house is ideally positioned, only a short walk to the bakery and pub which is great for an evening meal, with tasty Thai and Aussie pub food options as well as a good range of beers and wines. My only regret was that it wasn't cold enough to light up the fire; we'll have to come back to enjoy that.”
