Vacation rentals with a firepit in Province of Lucca

Quiet and peacefull place, great view. A bit far form the beaches, but worth the drive if you enjoy italian countryside views. Close to some great local and true italian restaurants. We very much enjoyed Rina's and Il Sogiorno. Absolutely need a car. Giulia was great, really responsove and helpfull, she quickly answered with great reccomandations. Good location for day trips to Lucca, Pisa, Livorno, Florence or even Cinque Terre or Genova. Kids really enjoyed the pool.

Siamo stati davvero bene durante i 3 giorni trascorsi qui. Tutti sono stati disponibilissimi e gentilissimi. Il posto è meraviglioso, rilassante, perfetto per fuggire dalla città. L'appartamento carinissimo, dotato di tutto il necessario, mancava solo bagnoschiuma, shampoo e sapone mani, ma niente di terribile che possa farci rivalutare negativamente la bellissima idea che ci siamo fatti di questo splendido posto. Torneremo con estremo piacere ❤️

Je voelt je meteen thuis in het sfeervolle huisje middenin een tuin met rozen, rozemarijn, fruit- en olijfbomen. De klokkentoren zorgt al eeuwen voor een karakteristiek uitzicht. Giovanna en Antonio zijn zeer hartelijk en geven fijne tips over de fantastische Toscaanse omgeving (wandelroutes, dorpjes, strand, restaurant,…). Ze verwennen je met hun eigen olijfolie, limoncello, vers geplukte vruchten en wijn en ze laten je lekker je eigen gang gaan. De ommuurde stad Lucca is 10min rijden en zowel met de fiets als te voet te bezoeken. In deze wat kleinere stad heb je de Duomo bijna voor jezelf. Pistoia, Pisa, Florence, allemaal een uurtje rijden, zijn zeer de reis waard maar het is na deze drukke steden elke avond weer heerlijk om in het rustige Upupa huisje terug te keren. Wij, 2 zusjes, verbleven er begin november en konden in de tuin een handje helpen met de olijvenpluk. Onze vakantie was helemaal af. Grazie mille, Luki&Niko

Wir waren zu dritt in der Wohnung, die irgendwie ein Haus ist. Sehr schön gelegen, großer Garten mit prima Terrasse, eine tolle Küche mit WIRKLICH allem. Silvia ist wirklich nett und sehr hilfsbereit, gut erreichbar und hilfsbereit. Ich komme gerne wieder und empfehle Silvia und die Unterkunft voll und ganz! Nochmal Danke!

Jolie petite maison, très bien décorée et agréable à vivre. Literie confortable. Environnement calme. Jacopo très réactif et de bons conseils. Le parking peut être compliqué avec une grosse voiture. Bons restaurants tout proches (Meraviglie).

Chouette séjour dans la maison d’Ilaria et sa maman. Très bel accueil, maison très bien située à 10 minutes de Lucques avec un accès en train à Florence, Pise, Sienne, Rome… La maison était très propre, avec tous les équipements nécessaires. Le jardin est vraiment parfait avec la terrasse même si le temps ne nous a pas permis d’en profiter pleinement. L’endroit est calme et bucolique dans un environnement très calme. Ilaria a su rendre notre séjour parfait et merci pour la petite attention à notre arrivée !

Thanks Andrea for staying in your house, the hospitality you showed and all the suggestions for what to do and where to eat! We really liked the house and the beautiful location next to the river. It’s calm and quiet, and everything was well provided.

We had a really lovely stay. There were 4 adults, and toddler and baby and the property was very suitable for us. The hosts were very friendly and gave us lots of recommendations of places to eat. We ate in the restaurant just by the property and it was the best meal we had in Italy. We also had some delicious gelato. The property was extremely clean and great for what we needed. We had enough space and there was a nice outdoor area too. It was also a great location, very peaceful but also within walking distance to the beach and lovely little village. Sono stato ospite da Elena con mia moglie, incinta al nono mese e mio figlio di 2 anni. L’appartamento si trova al primo piano di una bellissima villa ristrutturata e si raggiunge con una scala a chiocciola. L’ambiente è molto luminoso con dettagli altrettanto curati. Ha tutto il necessario per una permanenza davvero rilassante: aria condizionata in salotto e camera da letto, lavatrice, lavastoviglie, bidet e doccia molto comodi, balcone spazioso. La terrazza si trova sul tetto della villa e si raggiunge con accesso esterno all’appartamento tramite scala a chiocciola (la stessa che porta all’appartamento): enorme, con vista sugli alberi e sulle Alpi, arredata con lettini-ombrellone e un tavolo dove poter cenare. Abbiamo alloggiato ad Agosto in settimane molto calde quindi l’abbiamo usata dopo il tramonto. Elena è stata una host impeccabile, generosa nei consigli e instancabile nel fornirci supporto. Ci ha dimostrato una empatia fuori dal comune facendoci stare benissimo.

The apartment is fantastic! The view from the terrace overlooking the mountains is spectacular, with sunshine from morning until evening. Check-in was easy, and Raphael and Elia responded very quickly to any messages. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need for cooking. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were clean, and the rainforest shower was a really cool extra touch. The internet was occasionally a bit unstable, but apart from that, the stay was perfect. If you're looking for a relaxing, carefree stay in nature, with plenty of hiking trails and winding mountain roads nearby, this is the place to be.

Vielen Dank liebe Sara , dass du uns deine Wohnung zur Verfügung gestellt hast. Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber und hat eine phantastische Lage mit direktem Strandzugang . Die Deckenhöhe ist in der Dusche und in den Schlafzimmern etwas niedrig, jedoch sind wir beide auch recht groß. Wir konnten uns damit sehr gut arrangieren und für uns war das auch kein Problem. Wir alle (inklusive Kinder 5 u 10 Jahre) haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und empfehlen die Wohnung 100% weiter. Sara ist sehr lieb und zuvorkommend, vielen Dank dafür!

Siamo stati benissimo. Ci siamo sentiti come a casa Una casina di montagna confortevole, con un bel caminetto con tiraggio perfetto. Forno, riscaldamento autonomo. Ci sono tutti gli utensili a disposizione Gli spazi sono ben progettati. Anche se non grandissima ognuno di noi poteva godere del proprio angolo di relax Vicinissima a gli impianti Nevicava e il Parcheggio privato davanti alla casa ha fatto molto comodo Condominio silenzioso Sara é sempre stata attiva nel rispondere ai messaggi e pro attiva per risolvere problemi (avevo lasciato le chiavi in casa) Che dire?! Fantastico

The weather was bad, but we still had great time seating at the fireplace

Stayed at Andrea's condo for a month, and can't say enough abut how great it was. Well-furnished kitchen, super clean overall, and just a mere 10 minute bike ride ( I rented a bike down the road for the month) to the Lucca wall, the train station, and the Coop supermarket. There is a great bakery (Forno Ghilardi), a butcher, and Trattoria "Da Ildo" less than 10 minutes walk. Cycling into the nearby hills a visiting the outlying villages was great, and the locals are very cycling friendly. Lucca itself has so much to offer in terms of cuisine, the arts, and sights, and even though it is a tourism mecca, it has to be one of the friendliest cities I've ever visited. For down time, my favorite thing was gilling in the yard at Andrea's place and enjoying dinner al fresco in a quiet neighborhood with views of the surrounding mountains and meadows. I can't recall why I chose Lucca in the first place, but staying at Andrea's was definitely the right choice, and I will come back.

Wir waren zum zweiten Mal hier. Es ist einfach großartig nach einem wundervollen Tag in Lucca in den heißen Whirlpool zu steigen. Die Terrasse ist unschlagbar. Es ist alles so gemütlich und ästhetisch eingerichtet. Man fühlt sich gleich super wohl. Mit Emily funktioniert die Kommunikation super gut. Man ist schnell in der Stadt bzw. an der Stadtmauer, um mit dem Hund zu laufen. Wir kommen auf jedenfall wieder!

Martin ist super hilfsbereit und hat uns tips gegeben und war immer erreichbar und super freudnlich und zuvorkommend . danke Martin es war allea auper bei dir

We were a group of four adults and two dogs and had a fantastic time at Lucas place. The property is well maintained and in absolutely private surroundings. The view of the surrounding forest and mountains is beautiful any time of day and the pool is amazing for warmer days. Luca was an attentive host, and communication with him went very smoothly. Our holiday was beautiful and relaxing, thank you for everything Luca and hopefully see you again in the future

Our easter holiday at Corrado's place was WONDERFUL.It's a welcoming and clean typical mountain chalet....Who loves to nature & calmness...Above all our children had great fun with his beautiful garden... Corrado has done his best for us.He is a available & courteous person...As a host he is perfect!!And it was a remarkable vacation!!!!

Abbiamo soggiornato qui due notti, eravamo in 7 persone totali + 5 cani. La casa è molto accogliente e anche se per sette persone è un po’ piccola non abbiamo avuto problemi di spazio. La casa è bellissima anche se con parecchia polvere, ho avuto un po’ di allergia ma è un rischio che mi sono presa in quanto Silvia lo aveva messo in chiaro già dall’inizio. Bellissimo il giardino, con la zona barbecue perfetta. I nostri cani si sono divertiti tantissimo. Consiglio a tutti di soggiornare qui, ne varrà la pena!

Etwas abgelegen, aber dadurch sehr angenehm ruhig. Genau was wir gesucht haben. Bei der ersten Suche nach der Unterkunft haben wir die Hilfe von Matteo benötigt, danach aber problemlos die Unterkunft gefunden. Es sind ca. 10km von Piazza bis hoch (ca. 700müM) zur Unterkunft. Beinahe bei Pasquilino. Gleich unterhalb der Taverne La Capanna. Der Ausblick und die Ruhe der Unterkunft sind aussergewöhnlich. Allerdings haben es selbst die Mücken bis dorthin geschafft. Das Haus ist zweckmässig eingerichtet und wer sich nicht scheut von Hand abzuwaschen, für den ist diese Bleibe jederzeit zu empfehlen. Danke Camilla und Matteo, wir haben es sehr genossen.

Montefegatesi è un paese molto curato. La casa di Alessia è tenuta davvero molto bene e il panorama circostante è incantevole. È un alloggio ideale per un ritiro nella pace della natura. Da Montefegatesi partono vari percorsi ben segnalati anche per non esperti. Ci torneremo!

Ottima sistemazione, super accessoriata. Posizione fantastica per chi vuole fare una giornata sulla neve e godersi la montagna.

We had such a great experience staying at this Cabin! The house was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. One of the highlights was definitely the river view—it was absolutely stunning and made the whole place feel so peaceful and relaxing. The neighborhood was quiet and perfect for unwinding, and the overall vibe of the home was warm and welcoming. The host was also fantastic, very responsive and thoughtful, which made everything even better. If you're looking for a serene getaway with beautiful scenery, this is the perfect spot. We'd definitely come back again. Highly recommend!
