Vacation rentals with a firepit in Province of Verbano-Cusio-Ossola

We stopped at Lorenzo's house on the road to our stay in Italy. The accommodation and its environment were absolutely perfect for recovering from the road of more than 8 hours! An adorable house, decorated with great taste and very personal and in which it felt good right away. The kids loved the "cabin" spirit in the heart of nature. Lorenzo and his partner are very kind and helpful people. A very small regret all the same about the absence of a railing on the mezzanine but we slept very well. Thank you so much for this lovely rental.

Monica's had a nice stay at Monica's. The instructions for accessing the home were very clear. Listing matches description and photos. It was perfect for our family of 4. The place is really calm. Stresa and Baveno are each a 5-10 min drive away. A good place to visit the surroundings of Lake Maggiore.

Very quiet location in the middle of the mountain forest in the wild side valley of Lake Maggiore. Very nice host who always responded quickly to questions and could give us good tips. The house is ideally suited as a family accommodation for a few quiet days. Lots of hiking opportunities, and now in autumn, the forests are full of chestnut trees, which can be roasted on the stove in the house. For shopping you have to drive a bit, in the radius of about 15 minutes by car there are delicious restaurants with great Italian cuisine.

We were 2 families and had a very nice time in this spacious accommodation.

The view from the first bedroom takes everything! The one that makes you think- I could live there! Host was easy to communicate. And for those who think the front porch is too small- well my little sister parked Jeep Compass, it just depends on parking skills. Even had enough space outside for morning breakfast with view.

Perfect stay in the cabin overlooking the lake, everything as I expected. Andrea was very nice and helpful and gave me great tips on walks to take nearby.

Wow. We feel so privileged to have had the opportunity to spend a few nights in a unique home in a hidden village with a fascinating history. We happily immersed ourselves in this peaceful village and enjoyed the abundant walks. Highly recommend the climb up behind Gurro to the village of Vanzone. We have not yet figured out how some of these villages are accessed. This is an unforgettable opportunity - don’t miss it - but stay more than 1 night so you can explore.

We enjoyed it very much and we can definitely recommend the place. The area is beautiful. We'll be back.

We chose Anton’s place because we (family of 4 with children, 5 & 2) wanted to explore Lake Maggiore and Switzerland. The location is perfect for this if you have a car, however also possible without. The apartment is spacious, comfortable and tastefully decorated. Outdoor space is fantastic with a large mature garden and 2 terraces (if the weather allows you to use it). Kitchen equipment is good if you want to cook yourself. There’s a well stocked supermarket and fantastic cafe within a 2 minute walk (as well as some other restaurants and services). We had a great time here and would stay again. Thanks Anton

Paola's place is highly recommended for all garden lovers. The living/kitchen area is beautifully bright with fantastic views into the well-kept garden where you can relax in various relaxation areas. Paola is a very reactive host and was there to help! 👍🏻 By car, you can reach Ispra (supermarket, ice cream shop, pasticceria, bistro...) & Angera in 5-10 minutes. Varese & Milan are also easily accessible as excursion destinations.

Conni's place is in a beautiful and very quiet area. There was everything you normally needed. The place was handed over to us sparkling clean. Conni and Karsten personally welcomed us and explained everything very well. In addition, Conni gave us very good tips for excursions in the area.

Our warmest recommendations from here. An absolutely amazing place in quiet and beautiful surroundings. The apartment is lovely and has the most amazing view of the lake. Easy access to lake and activities and just a short walk along the lake to Mergozzo. Our kids were also very excited about the clean and delicious pools. We met an incredibly warm and welcoming host couple and can only recommend staying here. There are absolutely no minuses.

We had a lovely stay, Fillipo was a kind host and we were grateful to stay at his beautiful house. Very quiet and peaceful, wonderful surroundings . Finding it was a little bit tricky but sticking to the small road in the bend, right behind the daycare centre ended up being very useful advice. Clean and comfortable with all the amenities one might need. Would recommend to anyone visiting the area.

The apartment is breathtakingly beautiful and leaves nothing to be desired. The apartment is well equipped with everything you need and more to have a nice time. (lamps, kitchen equipment, towels, sparkling wine, water, tea, hairdryer, soap,...) In addition, we were very grateful for the elevator. The roof terrace, accessible via the stairwell, is also beautifully designed. The place is very centrally located within the village: bakery, coffee, restaurants, pharmacy, pizza, ferry, all in close proximity. We highly recommend the apartment.

Everything was as listed, beautiful home for many people and beautiful surroundings, right above the river Sesia. would definitely recommend for a retreat in nature!

Beautiful place, cabin equipped beyond expectations; groceries for bread, cold cuts and other needs just below, restaurant always close to family management very good and managed by courteous and helpful people. Chalet Milly is an enchanting retreat for those who love nature and tranquility. It's surrounded by an outstanding mountain world and architecturally perfectly embedded in it. Traditional construction meets thoughtful modern amenities. Hikes right from the cabin and in the wider area show Piedmont at its best. In addition, the village of Trasquera, which has retained its original charm.

We had a wonderful 4 days. Really very nice and very nice place, full of peace and tranquility. Thank you to Massimo for your hospitality. We will definitely see you again. Recommended place.

Independent house in the woods, it was difficult to reach with luggage because you have to leave the car in a pitch and do about 150m uphill "dirt", of which we had been notified but we had underestimated the effort with children and trolley. The house is well cared for and full of all the necessary amenities. Very warm and clean, the experience of the stay was beautiful, we had fun and we were a 15-minute drive from Macugnaga and her ski slopes. The fireplace and also the outdoor spaces of the house are very nice for a nice barbecue. Thoughtful and tidy bathroom, clean rooms and linens! I remind everyone that it is a mountain house in the woods, with the qualities and faults of the case. Riccardo was kind and helpful and always responded to everything and right away. Recommended for groups of friends or families! "Light" or off-road matches;)

Beautiful destination. Very secluded. You are one with nature. Our boys really liked expliring in the woods and the mountains. The house is very cosy and very personal. A trip to remember
