Cabin vacation rentals in Pyramid Lake

Wonderful location and the best view! Cabin was very cozy and the decks + hot tub views were amazing. Kitchen was well stocked and we were able to cook meals. Host was very proactive about home updates and responded quickly to questions!

Alex’s cozy cabin was perfect for our family get away. Although small it was perfect for the three of us and our pup. The backyard is serene and a great place to enjoy a quiet moment. The hot tub and steam shower are fantastic amenities that were a great addition. Location was perfect as we were a 5-10 min walk to the small beach and a short drive to incline village. We had a wonderful time!

This was our family’s second stay at Wade’s place. The house is very clean and well appointed. We had everything we needed, including lots of towels, plenty of detergent for the dishwasher and washing machine, and all the necessary kitchen accessories. Wade is a very courteous host. He proactively reached out to us a couple of times to make sure our stay was going well. Some of our favorite perks include the heated bathroom floor, rainfall shower, and hot tub! Thanks for another great stay!

Had such an amazing stay for my mom’s birthday. We felt right at home, nice and cozy and everything was exactly as pictured! We loved the restaurant recommendations and all the amenities provided, it made everything easier and lighter on the packing. 10/10 recommend!

Great private location near Palisades.

Doug and Marlene’s place is everything you could want for a Tahoe getaway. After staying in 10+ places in Truckee, this is by far our favorite. It’s spacious, cozy, and fully stocked, with plenty of room for gear. The abundance of towels (a rare find!), a huge kitchen, and an oversized garage - big enough for two SUVs with room to spare - made our stay even better. The hot tub is perfectly placed right off the back door, super private, and no snow trekking required. The beds were incredibly comfortable, too. We loved it so much, we’ve already booked our next stay!

We had a great stay here. Loved having books and toys for the kids available to use! House is accessible to Truckee downtown and multiple ski mountains.

We had a great stay! The cabin was very clean and thoughtfully designed with lots of details that make it feel like a high-quality retreat, especially for families. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked—much better than most rentals—and made cooking easy and enjoyable. The cabin stayed warm overnight even without turning on the heat, and the WiFi was reliable enough for a work video call. Beds and mattresses were comfortable, and there were plenty of towels and blankets for everyone. One thing to note for families with young kids: I wouldn’t recommend it for toddlers, as the stairs are steep and the heater is floor-mounted. Fortunately, our child was old enough for it not to be an issue. A small tip: the melamine plates are very cute, but not microwave-safe—learned that the hard way! Would definitely recommend and stay again.

This place was everything it said plus way more! Perfect family get away. If you are traveling with kids it’s perfect. Toys, baby gates, pack n plays, sledding hills and even anti choking kits. Used the sledding hill a ton but luckily avoided the anti-choking kit. Jokes aside, it’s one of the best thought out airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in. Definitely, will come back for a summer get away with family and friends.

We (plus our dog) had a perfect long weekend at Carmelita Cabana. The space was comfortable, clean, and quiet. The kitchen had the basics, and we were able to cook easy meals for two. We appreciated the cleanliness of the space but also liked that there was a vacuum to clean up any dirt we might have brought in. The living area and bedroom stayed a very comfortable temperature and we had no issues with being too cold/too warm. Our dog can be sensitive to noises in a new place, but she had no issues whatsoever. The view was unbeatable, and our only problem was that our trip wasn’t long enough!

This is the perfect Tahoe getaway. Easy access to the lake (rocky but lovely) and a great breakfast spot just next door. Would highly recommend if you have several couples or family that want a getaway.

This is in a great location for those who enjoy a quieter setting with great access to the shore, hiking, riding, and smalltown amenities. We traveled around Lake Tahoe and were grateful that we landed in the best area. The cottage comes with kayaks and paddle boards which more than pay for the cost of staying. We had a great few days! Definitely will check in here when we return to Lake Tahoe.

We had a great time at Michelle and Connor's place. There was plenty of space for two families of 4 plus dogs. The location is close to everything yet still feels peaceful. You are minutes from groceries and old town Truckee and 20 minutes from skiing. We would definitely stay again.

Great, rustic, centralized and quite location. Loved the fireplace and window seat. Well stocked kitchen and plenty of quality linens. Charming. The only caution I would mention, which Brian detailed VERY well in his description, are the stairs to the upstairs bedroom which are steep and narrow. Hand rails are on both sides and very useful. Keeping a light on at night is a good idea for going up and down the stairs. We loved the place.

This was a great, private cabin located behind the Firelite Lodge. A little smaller than I had imagined, with not much room in the bedrooms, but it was fine for what we were needing. It's in an excellent location on the quieter north side of Lake Tahoe. Within easy walking distance there is Jiffy Pizza, Pep's Place for coffee and breakfast/lunch sandwiches, and an ice cream shop. Across the street there is a marina with a small, private, pebble beach to relax and watch the sunsets. Tahoe City and the marina are ~15-20 mins away where you can rent sailboat charters, sunset cruises, etc. We did not use the kitchen much, but it appeared to have put thought into stocking all the items you would need. The gas firepit on the front porch and the picnic table out back were also nice touches. We would definitely stay here again when we come back to Tahoe.

This is one of our happy places. We'll be back as many times as Pete & Sonia will have us! The cabin is clean & comfortable. The location is fantastic: close to the lake and open space right out the backdoor. Pete is also incredibly responsive, welcoming, and kind.

Not to take the easy way out and just say ditto, ditto, ditto, to all the great reviews below, but it was was exactly so, awesome! Scott was a great host with all communication, including the booking, check-in and departure routines, a class act all the way. The property was just as portrayed in every way and made a great base camp for our family snowmobiling adventure. It's a classic cabin with tasteful and thoughtful updates, roomy, well laid out and clean as a whistle. The wood-burning fireplace is a nice touch. No concerns and no regrets whatsoever, our stay couldn't have been better.

Great Airbnb as described, the house was comfortable and the fireplace was great for the unusually cold weather in August, and so glad we had a hot tub. Backyard was great for our little pup. Within walking distance of restaurants, a beach and some trails. Great place to stay and Katie was very responsive.

We had a lovely stay at Kelly’s place with our son over midwinter break. The house was cozy and well equipped. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen and also appreciated Kelly’s recommendations for some good local restaurants! We had a lot of fun sledding at the nearby park, and the house’s location made it easy to get to our favorite snow tubing spot at Palisades Tahoe. Kelly was kind and very responsive. Really enjoyed our visit and hope to come again!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful lakefront property! The place was spotless, well-organized, and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. Diane was an amazing host—responsive, welcoming, and made sure we felt right at home. The location is perfect, just a short drive from all the popular shopping areas and great breakfast spots. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Lake Tahoe—you won't be disappointed!
