Vacation rentals with lake access in Quelfes

A charming house in the countryside with calm surroundings. We loved the pool, jacuzzi and the views around the house. The house has everything you need, and I would advise you to do a small shop before going there due to its location.

We had the very best time staying at Christiane's home! In total, we spent 4 weeks here as a couple, worked 2 weeks and went on vacation for 2 weeks – both worked perfectly. Christiane was very respectful of our quiet hours, and the internet was reliable. The apartment is even more beautiful than in the pictures: spacious, with a well-equipped kitchen, a cozy living room and comfortable bedrooms. The terrace offers a fantastic view of nature. There is an idyllic lake and yoga platform in the area – perfect for recreation. Everything was spotlessly clean, and Christiane was a wonderful host – always available, helpful and warm. We will be happy to come back. Thank you!

Really Nice place. Clean, decorated nicely, comfortable. Very friendly host, the lady who let us in absolutely loved our baby and was so sweet with him. Lovely town, and the near islands are gorgeous.

Great Villa for the six people in our party. Well set out with bedrooms at one end moving through to a bright and spacious lounge area with dining table and kitchen off that. Then out onto a covered area outside and then pool and sunloungers. Plenty of space to be together without being cramped. Air con in bedrooms is great. Also good washing machine and additional toilet and shower in outbuilding. Well situated in quiet peaceful area with good supermarkets and restaurants nearby. Very prompt and helpful responses to any enquiries we made. Recommended.

We were warmly welcomed by Isabel, who speaks French well. The accommodation is atypical and has all the comforts you need. We were able to park easily every time we got back from a walk. It is a few meters from the pedestrian streets for shops and restaurants but also from the waterfront, for the boat that takes you to the islands. Regarding the things we liked less, as mentioned in previous comments, the master bedroom has no shutter, just a transparent and most annoying white blind, is, that the neighbor next to an external motion-detection light that illuminates the room at each trigger for 10 seconds, and sometimes, dozens of times in a row, because this gentleman plays on his phone, in front of this lamp, so with each movement, it turns on... The other point that could be improved would be the maintenance of the pool water line, which is green. We took the time to clean up a bit!

Nuno and Ana are wonderfully friendly and helpful hosts. The house is equipped with all ( and even more) comforts; really everything you need is present. We enjoyed the house, the garden and the location!!!

Great place to stay for a peaceful time in Tavira. East access to the main town as well as Faro or Fuseta. Great restaurant less than a 5 minute walk from the cottage.

A very nice accommodation with a terrace that allows you to spend good times around a good meal. Shops and local activities are all nearby... so you can do anything on foot! The roof top with a pool is a real plus;-) Thanks for this beautiful stay

Charming accommodation a few meters from the beach, very nice. The neighborhood is nice and lively. Easy access to Faro by car (10 min) We were hosted very well by Sara's father who gives us all the information. Great contact with Sara who is very reactive. We recommend it 100%!

Great location, balcony with sea view, modern and tastefully decorated, good kitchen equipment, 2 elevators. The market and all supermarkets are within easy walking distance. Immediately behind the building in which the apartment is located is the old village of Armação de Pêra with numerous cafes and snack bars, where you can participate in Portuguese life among locals and enjoy the relaxed tranquility with coffee and pastel de nata or Pão de Deus. From the apartment to the beach with numerous fishing boats and the tourist gastronomy it is only 100 meters, so top location! Communication with Vanessa was very warm, upon our arrival there was a bottle of wine as well as jam, nut-nougat cream, capsules for the coffee maker, vinegar, oil, salt etc. at the table. A service we have rarely experienced and we have been to the Algarve very often. It couldn't have been better. Thanks for the hospitality! I would be happy to come back.

Really enjoyed our 2 night stay at Pedro's. loved how bright & airy it was. Would liked to have stayed a bit longer. It had everything we needed. Eventhough it's very close to the main square & all the shops & restaurants along the way, it still feels very quiet. Will definitely be back. Thank you Pedro.

Lovely spacious apartment with 3 balconies and air conditioning in bedroom and living room. Everything is available, including a washing machine. Very nice shower. Sofa in the living room is fine as a sofa bed. We got 1 set of towels and that's a little for 1 week. On request, however, we immediately received a 2nd set. Thanks again for that. Very friendly host who responds quickly. Alhoa is lovely and we have enjoyed the ferry, islands and trips to Faro and Tavira. Super nice holiday!

This apartment has a terrace with a wonderful view of the coast and beach. It is in a quiet area but within walking distance to Old Town. There is a very nice market also within walking distance. The apartment has everything you need for an extended stay.

This was one of the best stocked rentals I have ever stayed in. It has a very large balcony with great views of the water. I did not have a car so having needed amenities (grocery store, train) close by was important. There is a nice boardwalk that runs in front of the building with lots of restaurants, shops and a local fresh fish and vegetable market nearby. You can see the Spar mini market from the balcony. The train station is about a 15 minute walk, but would recommend Uber if you have luggage. I walked to the train and went to Tavira for the day. The host, Tomas, was absolutely amazing. Great communication and provided flexible check-in and check-out which was appreciated. It is very obvious he is concerned for his guests and wants them to have the best experience possible. Highly recommend!!

Beautiful house! Very clean and stylishly decorated! We had an great week and felt very comfortable. The house is located just outside Silves surrounded by nature. We will be happy to come back!

To use just one word to describe Jan home: wonderful! If you are looking for a peaceful place, close to nature and away from busy cities then this is your place to stay. It has everything you'll need and perhaps Jan you'll do his best for more if needed. To us, his home was a piece of heaven and it did reminded me of my grandparents place when I was a young and spend the time summer holidays with them. Here you have orange trees and all you have to do is to pick one or two and enjoy them. Oh, I shall not forget Odin (the Cat). He gave us a big welcome in the first day but because we made the mistake not to allow her inside he completly ignored us during the stay. We had the 2nd chance on the last day when he joins us a for a breakfast! :-) Things to mention: you'll need a car (not a low small car but rather a mini SUV perhaps) as it's not close to a bus or train routes. Good Wifi receptions. We will return for sure as there is so much to see around. Thank you Jan for hospitality!

We had a wonderful time at Jan's place. The garden with natural pool are laid out with great effort and care and prepare a unique experience in quiet nature. This place is excellent for just unwinding for a few days and experiencing the beautiful hinterland of the Algarve. Thank you!

A lovely place to stay! It felt very comfortable, the design was fun, and we had the best dinner of our trip at their restaurant! Would come again!

Hard not to fall in love with this place. Everything one could dream of. It’s a very relaxed environment with two very cool humans, whom which have built a little town of their own if you don’t say! We were lucky enough to have a little tour of the place, hear about how it all started. Went horseback riding with Chris which was incredo. Swam in the pond, sat in the sauna but mostly just enjoyed the view. And hung out with the doggos. Thank you. Will definitely come again when I return to Portugal.

We had a pleasant stay. Bruna's welcome is very friendly. Listing is as described. Very clean and tastefully decorated. The barbecue was well present. the place a haven of peace. we highly recommend it.

What a special place! In the mountains and so beautiful. Jacqueline and her family were really nice and generous with their time. Definitely would come back again.
