Vacation home for rent daily or weekly. Vacation accommodation in a renovated log house. The house is located on the same property as the landlord's residential building. The house is 74 sqm on two floors with a small hall, kitchen, bathroom and TV room on the lower floor. Open sleeping loft with two single beds 90x200 and small bedroom with two single beds 90x200. Steep stair to upper floor. Smoking or pets are not allowed. During the coldest season, we would prefer to have your request 48 hours before arrival so we have time to raise the temperature in the cabin.

Here, it feels like you're in the countryside, but still in town. You live in peace and quiet, without TV, by Lake Varpan with only 2.5 km to Lugnet's ski stadium and 3 km to Falun of Falun. You have 600 meters to the forest and Lugnet Nature Reserve. Swim in the lake from the jetty in the summer or take a dip in the ice hole in winter. Wood-fired sauna is available, bring your own wood if you want to use the sauna. In winter, if the weather and wind allow, there may be a plowed ice rink/walking path on the lake, and ski trails are usually prepared.

Walking distance to Carl Larsson farm and Stora Hyttnäs 650 meters, Sundborn church 900 meters. Close to nature with electric light trails and hiking trails. Only 200 meters to refreshing swimming in Sundbornsån. Summer time is possible to rent sup board. The village sauna by the river can be rented. Lugnet, Dalarna University, Falu center about 13 km, World Heritage Falun - Falu Mine 14 km.

The house is located on the quieter side of the stadium, which means you avoid the worst traffic during competitions. On the property, there are horses and cats.

Newly built in 2019. 150 m to the Elljusspår trail, outdoor gym and the start of the Vildmarksleden trail. 1 km to Dössberget Inn and the Sagostigen trail. About 5-10 minutes by car to Bjursås Berg and Sjö. 1,5 km walk to the ski center. 3 beds. (+2 sofa bed) Double bed, one single bed, plus two beds in sofa bed (suitable best for children). There is a wood-fired sauna. Cleaning and rental of bed linens/towels can be purchased. Smoke and pet free.

Welcome to our cozy cottage – perfect for those who long for quiet days and want to experience the genuine Dalarna. Stay in a well-equipped cabin with a made bed, surrounded by red Dalagård houses, open meadows and beautiful nature. With proximity to Carl Larsson's home, Falu Mine and Falun, this is a perfect starting point for those who want to explore Dalarna. Due to the great interest and increasing number of guests for our cottage, we no longer offer breakfast.

Rent our pool house of about 20 square metres with a spacious hall, a bathroom with laundry facilities and a room with a kitchen, a sofa and a 160-cm bed. Bedlinen and towels are included. Parking directly outside included. You can store your skis or bikes in locked space if you wish. About 800 meters to Lugnet's outdoor area with cross-country tracks, bathhouses, bike trails and the university Dalarna. 3 minutes drive to the city center and grocery stores.
