The White House Lodge was amazing. Janaka and his family made us instantly feel welcome and at home. The apartment is quite spacious and you'll be provided with everything you need. the terrace is very beautiful as well. Everything in Madiha is in walkable distance. Janaka helped us with tuktuks and car rides as well.

Celine was an exceptional host who made our stay in Sri Lanka truly memorable. Her hospitality was second to none — warm, thoughtful, and genuinely caring. She was always available, greeting us personally each morning and evening to reconfirm plans and ensure everything was running smoothly. Her attention to detail and consistent communication made us feel completely at ease throughout our trip. Celine went far beyond what one would expect from a host. She offered fantastic local recommendations, personally took us around the area, and even accompanied us on a grocery run — a gesture that meant so much. Thanks to her, we experienced the real Sri Lanka, not just as tourists but as welcomed guests. I came looking for a place to stay and left having found a friend. Thank you, Celine, for everything.

I had an amazing stay at ISI Villa Dikwella! The villa is exceptionally clean and well maintained, with comfortable rooms and beautiful beachfront views. Its location is perfect right on the beach and within walking distance to shops, restaurants, and everything you need. The host was outstanding, providing excellent communication and support throughout my stay, making everything smooth and stress free. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful, convenient, and well cared for getaway. I’ll definitely be back!

Villa is really nice! Property well maintained. Guardians can arrange everything what you need. They made us 2kg fresh lobster for only 40$. We are a filming company and wanted to make a story about the son of the guardians (he is a fishermen) went on see with him to catch some fish and filming his life story. Tuk tuk’s are available at the property gate. Ocean is in front. There are some cool bars nearby like: the doctors house. Ruzaik arranged our PCR testing for our return flight and we didn’t had to cue for hours!!! Big plus!

Lucas place met our expectations. We loved the privacy and location amongst the locals. We loved spotting all the beautiful birds and wildlife in the backyard. Waking up to the birdsong in the morning was so very special. Nimesh and Niroshi went above and beyond to make us feel like home. The home cooked meals were delicious. We were a group of 7 and all had enough room and space to feel at home. We all can’t wait to visit again!

Fantastic holiday with family! We had a great 2 night stay .. we enjoyed the hospitality and the villa. Mani was amazing and Kawshika cooked up amazing meals. It was peaceful and had everything we needed to enjoy the beach, pool and great family time.

We were lucky and were able to check in early. I was sent all the information I needed on a w***e. Upon arrival, we were met by Guyan and Irish. Irish was very kind, we saw him every day when he came to clean the area. Having a pool is an absolute plus in this villa. We bathed in it both morning and evening. The sea is a 3-minute walk. At this time, it is not crowded and almost all the beaches are not crowded. It is better to move around the tangalle by bike to visit various beaches and cafes. We walked from the villa to a lovely restaurant in 10 minutes. In general, we did not regret it at all and remembered this villa for the rest of the trip.

We had a marvelous time at the Firefly villa. The house is really well furnished, and feels super welcoming and cosy. Patricja shared a lot of tips regarding local restaurants, activities and points of interests. She clearly contributed to make our honeymoon a remarkable experience. Would definitely recommend.

an excellent property, just as good as the photos. watching the sun go down over the water from the Infiniti pool each evening was a dream. all rooms are large and spacious. the all glass construction maximizes the beautiful views from every part of the property. the on site staff were very helpful and attentive. with the property being large and elevated, it was one of the few locations we were able to play music loud on the large speaker we brought, both indoors and outdoors, whenever we wanted without having to worry about disturbing neighbors too much which was great. the only negative is with all that glass the building can become a bit of a greenhouse in the hot sri lankan sun. A/C is sufficient in the bedrooms but it can get a bit uncomfortably hot in the main living room in the afternoons even with the A/C on max all day. Dinesh informed us they are working on adding additional A/C. In all, a fantastic stay, would definitely stay again, especially great for large groups.

We had a wonderful stay at this two-story house. The property is spacious, well-maintained, and located in a beautiful area. We especially appreciated the peaceful surroundings and the helpful communication with the host. Just a small tip for future guests: be mindful of keeping doors and windows closed, as the local wildlife is quite active. Overall, a great experience, and we would definitely consider staying here again!

We had a great stay at Hiriketiya Studios! Our room was very clean, had all the amenities we needed and the pool was lovely! It is a short walk to both Hiriketiya and Dickwella beach’s. Above all, Nishan was an excellent host. He was very friendly and had lots of recommendations for us! Overall, we’d recommend staying here :)

A great stay by the ocean. I loved going to sleep to the sound of the waves and watching the turtles right out the front. Lots of food and bar options within walking distance. Definitely recommend!

We ended up changing our accomodation and are so thrilled we found Cheryl and Donna’s place. It’s a beautiful, spacious and clean villa with all amenities you’d need for a short or long term stay. We were travelling with our 2 young children and both absolutely loved it. The location is perfect, a short walk down the hill to get to the beach and close to some really lovely restaurants (including Raa which is a must visit!) There are 3 very friendly dogs that live on the property so if you’re a dog person you’re in for a treat! We ended our 10 week trip at this villa and were so glad we did, if we ever come back to Hiri we will 100% stay again.

We had a great time at Marco's place and his friend. We were well received by Sajeeva, who was very hospitable. He gave us nice tips and was always nearby if there should be anything. The rooms were great and the interior was very well done. The kids loved the place and felt very safe. The best thing about the stay was that we contributed to the great project they run. I think it's absolutely amazing that they give children the opportunity to go to school. I will definitely be back and want to monitor the development of the school and the new cafe. I hope you set up a fundraiser where people can contribute. Thanks for us😊

Great place to stay. Very close to silent beach, only a few minutes by foot. One of the most beautiful beaches we have seen here. Closeby to a local store and tuk tuks for easy transport. His family also supported with a taxi service, very friendly and reliable. Would highly recommended staying here.

The villa is adequately provided and well equipped . If anything is required to suit your taste then Aravinda promptly arranges the same . We spent nearly 34 days at this villa and it had become a second home to us. 2 bedrooms were provided with AC and the 3rd bedroom was provided with desert cooler. For longer stays the electricity is billed to the guest. Our bill was @14000 LKR for the entire duration . We used only 1 AC as only 1 bedroom was utilised by us. We didnot use any electric cooking gadget , even though all kinds of electric ovens were there. We used only the cooking gas stove and gas cylinder was provided by Aravinda . The front lawn is green and Aravinda takes responsibility to get the lawn cleaned once every week. Be careful of red ants though :-). Aravinda took us for a familiarisation ride of the locality on our 1st day . He also picked / dropped us from/to airport in his sedan at very low cost. We definitely would like to come back again!

The lost art of Air BnB - thank you Sue for creating a beautiful space that felt like our home away from home. The place is decorated so beautifully- dark wood and rattan furniture with fun modern accents. Kitchen had everything we needed to enjoy breakfast and fresh coffee. The yoga mats on top and a killer book collection?! Chefs kiss!! We travel so much and we look for beautiful spaces like this that standout on our journeys. Great location, great vibe, great experience. Thank you again for having us and sharing such a beautifully curated space.

The place was definitely the most beautiful of our whole trip. It looked exactly like the photos and we felt incredibly comfortable! Drinking his coffee and breakfast on the beautiful terrace in the morning was a highlight. The host and staff were very nice and picked us up from the street with a tuktuk, for example, when we didn't find the entrance directly. We were also able to rent scooters directly via the accommodation and organize tuktuks to the next place. Unfortunately, there are not so much in the area except for a few restaurants (which are great) (no real shopping), but e.g. Jungle Beach is only a few minutes away on foot and incredibly beautiful!

This was hands down the best spot we found in Hiriketiya. It's just far enough from the busy center to enjoy total peace and quiet, but still only a 5-minute drive by bike to all the beach vibes, cafés, and restaurants Hiriketiya has to offer. The place itself is beautiful—super clean, modern, and brand new. The view is absolutely stunning, and waking up to the sunrise right from bed was a daily highlight. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, always happy to share tips and help with anything we needed. We felt very well taken care of. Highly recommend this gem if you're looking for a calm, comfortable, and scenic stay in Hiriketiya!
