There is also larger shop on the property with even more convenience items, fresh eggs, lavender products, local maple syrup & honey. Enjoy an extended stay at Lavender Hill Roost, or just stop by for a night.

Stay at my home close to the National Park off the Thurmond park access! Enjoy the first floor of my house with a private entrance. A bird watcher's paradise! Fastest WiFi available in the area!The house lies within 10 minutes of all the major attractions. It is just off 19 which takes you to all points South and North. We picked the perfect location for exploring New River Gorge! We actually live here and LOVE it. Over the last 2 years, we completely rebuilt this Little Guest House from the ground up while exploring and putting together the local's ultimate guidebook of the area. Our guest house is located immediately off route 19 on Main Street Oak Hill, WV near the New River Gorge National Park . It is just 3 miles from ACE Adventure Resort, 6 miles from Fayetteville, WV and just 30 minutes from Winterplace ski resort. Perfect for two couples or a small family. The one bedroom has a queen size bed, a full size futon bed is located in the living room & a twin daybed. A full kitchen, fire pit area and walking distance to downtown Oak Hill.

When visiting the New River Gorge National Park and Preserve, stay at this quaint stone cottage less than a mile off of Route 19 in downtown Oak Hill, WV. Things to Note: This little cottage has skylights upstairs, so light floods into this space from sunrise to sundown. Also, the mattress is firm. Finally, the hot water is provided via a tankless hot water heater, which has been known to cause water temperature variability.
