Casa Laura

LucreziaRating, 5 stars19 months ago
We were a group of 10 people, the house was so big that it was cozy even for our number. No problem with space or amenities. Highly recommended for large groups. The location is very quiet, a little difficult to reach at the beginning if you follow Maps because it indicates that you can walk through roads that are also uniquely and with a prohibition of transit. Teresa was also very available in this, coming to pick us up when we got lost. Overall a beautiful experience

Castello Mortellito

JulietteRating, 5 stars43 months ago
The castle is beautiful, a real museum. The pool is huge, and the decor is sublime. We felt very good there! Just know that the guards are omnipresent, but adorable: they come to clean every 3 days to maintain the castle. The only downside: the caretakers do not speak English at all (nor French). This has prevented us from understanding the air conditioning mechanism that is to be paid at the end of the stay, which is €400 for a week. We hope for the next one that an explanatory note in English will be put in place to avoid this kind of misunderstandings …

Villa in Messina

Sunrise over the Strait

EllenRating, 5 stars17 months ago
Giuseppe and his wife, Angela, were the kindest, most hospitable, most caring hosts imaginable. The villa itself is a dream, but to have these fine people along with it is to enjoy a perfect combination. We stayed in the off season, so some of the Seaside amenities were not available, and a few restaurants were closed, but it did not impact our enjoyment of the area very much. There is a bus stop almost directly in front of the house, which makes it very easy to get to and from the nearby city of Messina, including access from the central rail/bus terminal. There is a food and sundries store within walking distance, a post office—and of course plenty of gelato vendors! The Villa’s pool is gorgeous and beautifully maintained, although cushions for the lounge chairs would be a big plus. We were glad to have a washer/dryer in the Villa but operating them took a lot of guesswork—manuals would have saved time. Overall, a stunning home in a lovely location, with incredibly kind hosts.

Sicilian Mansion Villa Cycas Heated Pool

SeanRating, 5 stars9 months ago
Our stay at Villa Cycas was such an incredible experience: between the property, the surrounding small village of Salice, the scenic views of Mount Stromboli in the distance, and most importantly Ottavio as our host. Ottavio was genuinely friendly and great to talk to throughout check-in as he gave us a detailed tour of the property. His private dinner option at the villa is definitely a must add on your bucket list. Both him and his wife Paola came to the villa and cooked an amazing dinner for my family and it was great getting to know both during that experience. The villa itself was clean and the surrounding property filled lush with meticulously placed foliage including an abundance of lemon, orange, and kumquat trees that Ottavio invited us to pick the fruit from. Our family absolutely enjoyed the swimming pool and outdoor sauna along with the views of the Aeolian Islands in the distance. Thank you Ottavio for the memories our family made while at your family's villa!

Casa delle Galee - Garden by the sea

DavidRating, 5 stars5 months ago
The house in Scilla impresses with its prime location right by the sea and its proximity to the center, which made our stay particularly pleasant. Alessandra gave us a friendly welcome and explained everything important. Pierluigi was always available and gave us many good tips for the area. Overall we enjoyed our time in Scilla and very much appreciated the charming atmosphere of the place as well as the proximity to the beach.

Detached villa with pool and sea access

JeromeRating, 5 stars7 months ago
Ambra and Orazio are extremely welcoming and helpful hosts. The price of the stay is justified by the amazing sea view, the private access to it (a stones and pebbles but comfortable beach, with pristine water) and the vast, beautiful and well equiped ground. The house is relatively large and niceless decorated. It is good to be aware of a few details: barely functioning internet, some noise from the road (it can be an annoyance at night from the bedrooms) and old windows. Overall, it is nevertheless worth recommending.

Villa Nina, Lungomare di Lazzaro (Rome)

SusieRating, 5 stars3 months ago
With plenty of outdoor gathering spaces and many bedrooms and bathrooms, the large villa would be perfect for a family or group traveling together. It has a beautiful view of the sea, Sicily, and Mt Etna, and yet, it is ideally situated away from the street, tucked up in the beautiful, shade of the garden. It offers the best of both worlds. We stayed in the off-season for the peace and quiet but can also imagine the area being enjoyed during the summer. Roberto and Celestina are gracious hosts, leaving us bottled water and a large bowl of fresh fruit to enjoy. Roberto is very knowledgeable about this part of Italy and offers great suggestions for things to see and do.

Villa with pool

AislingRating, 5 stars32 months ago
We had a wonderful stay in Ornella’s Villa. The house is beautiful and well laid out. The kitchen has everything you could ever need. The en-suite bedroom was great and they had a cot and high chair there too. It is the perfect place for entertaining. Two beautiful outdoor areas to eat. It is a five minute walk to the beach but we found it difficult to leave the Villa because the pool was so amazing. Highly recommend staying here.
