But this thoughtfully updated old cabin is all solid wood and hand forged nails, live edged oak counters and antique knock down trestle tables, goats out the window and horses down the hill, chickens by the geothermal passive greenhouse. Middle of nowhere, but if you find yourself nearby, stay here.

The house was very cozy, and well decorated! The layout is very unique and convenient, and the surprise lights on the stairs are an added bonus! Gloria was very responsive and has an amazing in-depth list of food recommendations + their menus. The animals can come up to the fence within feet of the back porch! Overall, it was an amazing stay and Gloria was very welcoming. Felt like we were part of the family with how considerate they were!! Thanks Gloria

We had a wonderful stay at Mike's house! It was a perfect winter getaway. We enjoyed building a fire in the wood stove every morning, sleeping on the comfy beds, cooking in the well-equipped and convenient kitchen, and exploring the many games and books available. Mike was a kind and thoughtful host, and I hope the house is available again in the summer for another visit!
