Home was warm and welcoming and Tara and Oskar were responsive and kind hosts.

This Airbnb is incredible! It’s beautiful in and out and has a great soaker tub out back that fills up in under 10 mins. It has all the amenities you would need. Its location was perfect too. Very walkable to all of Reykjavík’s attractions, restaurants, bars etc. There was also always a parking spot right outside the door. Beds were comfortable and the house is very well maintained. Bjorn was very attentive and available anytime we needed him. Street noise was non existent. I would HIGHLY recommend this home and would 1000% stay here again! Thanks for an incredible stay Bjorn!

The place was gorgeous. Hidden away in a cul-de-sac, this charming home was immaculately clean and had great features which allowed my family to feel at home. The hot tub was a hit with my family, and the modern kitchen had everything tucked away that we needed Friðrikka was responsive and made sure we had what we needed. She was thoughtful enough to have necessities available since our flight arrived so late.

Womderful spaciuos, bright and cosy house, ideal for a family. Lara provide us with detailed instructions and was always available. The location is close to supermarkets and public swimmimg pool. Downtown is just 10 Minuts by car. We had a very nive time! Thank you so much!

Nice house in in good area, a lot of space and light. Many games and toys for kids! 10 min by walk to the bus terminal.

We had an amazing stay! The house is very comfortable, spacious and well-equipped. The kitchen is not exactly perfect for cooking, but we've used the microwave and the oven and they worked perfectly. The heating system did a great job keeping the place warm. It's ideal for longer stays and can easily accommodate more than 2 people. We also enjoyed the games and activities available. The location is convenient, with markets, gas stations and restaurants nearby. Highly recommended

Absolutely 5 star all the way, this place is awesome! We have 3 kids 2,5 &9 - they loved it! Playing in the snow, having hot chocs looking out the snowy window. Host was so informative. Would 100% recommend

Drifa’s home was lovely. The neighbourhood is set outside central Reykjavik and the walk into town is about 25 minutes. It is right next to the sea. It was snowing when we stayed and was in between Christmas and New Year. Everything looked so pretty with the Christmas lights. Beds are comfy, it is quiet at night, feels totally safe. Clean, spacious and homely for my family of 5.

A very nice apartment. Very suitable for a family of four for a short stay. The two bedrooms can be darkened, have only a small window to open. The living room is nice and large and bright. The balcony invites you to stay if the weather cooperates accordingly. We felt very comfortable. Thank you 🤩

This is the place I stayed the day before I returned from my trip. It was spacious and clean and it took about 40 minutes to get to the airport. There is a mart nearby, so it was easy to shop.

A beautiful apartment that looks just like the photos! Comfy beds, spacious living room, well-stocked and modern kitchen. And super close to the downtown, many parks, and coastline. We really enjoyed our stay here!

This flat is very comfortable (the Icelandic know how to insulate and keep warm - which we gratefully noted as we live in a draughty Victorian house!) and very well fitted and maintained. Pretty much perfect. Lloyd and Raggi were welcoming and helpful and had left a few treats in the fridge which was nice :) They left us to ourselves but were quickly responsive when we had a query. They live in the flat below and met us on arrival there which was helpful. The area is residential and quiet but very close to the central exciting bits of Reykjavik - just five mins walk. Five mins in the other direction you can get to the path around the coast and a black sand beach. So, perfect for us really as we were there for Airwaves. They told us of a local pool which we went to everyday - it was great. There's a local bakery and cafe near the pool, but there's all the stuff in town in the other direction too. Easy access to airport - use Flybus stop 1 at City Hall Much recommended.

We had a really good stay at Brynja’s home. Such a cozy apartment! Walking distance to the city center.

it was a great stay, had everything we needed, place was clean and they were super friendly. Had an issue with the Kettle and they replaced it right away, amazing place to stay!

Had a fantastic stay at Einar's apartment, the location was so easy for driving out of the city and free parking was really useful. The apartment was cosy and much bigger than expected, and the balcony was a great space for watching northern lights.

Really interesting apartment, very clean, comfortable and well equipped. Very accessible location and good to be able to park the car in the driveway. An added bonus was the toys that had been left for the baby to play with - a very thoughtful touch. Unfortunately we could only stay one night - highly recommended and would stay again.

We were delighted to celebrate The New Year holidays in this place. It is a warm, clean, modern and cosy apartment with a spectacular view from all the windows. The kitchen has all the amenities (the knives need some sharpening). The bath plastic curtain needs some renovation. Thank you, Kjartan for our perfect stay in the apartment. It felt like home and we were sad to leave it.

Styrmir’s house was beautiful and was everything we needed on our trip. It was conveniently located by several grocery stores, not to mention being very close to the city center. It also had very easy access to the major highways out of Reykjavik, making day trips extremely easy. Styrmir was one of the most helpful and communicative hosts. He was a font of incredibly helpful information and continuously checked in to see how we were doing. The cats in the house were one of the best parts. They were super cute, extremely friendly, and made the stay that much more enjoyable. We would absolutely recommend this to anyone and would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful place to stay and especially perfect to enjoy the New Year’s Eve fireworks. Even though it was cold, I still enjoyed walking by the water and you can even walk all the way to grocery and coffee shops. Quick car ride to the center of the town too. Loved our stay!

My family and I stayed here for Christmas and New Years! The location was perfect for going in and out of town to look for the northern lights and still close to the city center for shopping! Hradnildur also gave us a list of recommendations which helped us find the hidden gems!

Hurnd and Davio’s place had a modern Scandinavian flair and it came with a well equipped open kitchen which connects to a dining room where 6-8 people can dine comfortably. The living room is so cozy as well and there were unblocked view for sunrise and sunset everyday, we really enjoyed our time experiencing Icelandic nature and there are also some outdoor seatings to get some fresh air. There were the two of us staying this time and the main purpose was for work. As we had some free time we did make use of the #14 bus which is just 2 mins walk from the apartment and runs to the city center and big church. The grocery is also just 15 mins walk away. Hrund even left us a personal message and she ensured our stay was hassle free with explanation of how the trash is sorted. The toilet was really nicely designed too and you can always count on the geothermal water coming out from the tap for a nice hot shower. We would definitely stay with Hrund and Davio again in the future!

The accommodation was so pretty, and it was comfortable!!! I didn't see the disadvantage of not having an elevator ~ You can park right in front of the house, and the view from the window was nice! In particular, it was difficult to move because of the typhoon, but the owner was kind enough to allow us to stay until the typhoon quieted down, and until the next person came (securing cleaning time)!!!! He also asked me where my next destination was because of the typhoon, and he was worried ~ He also gave me good luck!!!! I want to stay one more time before I leave!!!!!😍
