It is located in a guest house with other gites. It is intended to offer a relaxing getaway to lovers wishing to find peace and quiet. We are in the middle of the mountain, close to Remiremont. On site; hiking, fishing , plombières terms 15 minutes away, skiing 45 minutes away.

Living in a farmhouse

You will stay on the first floor of the newly converted farm building of an old farm. Large garden with paddock and 3 horses on a small stream. Don't be afraid of free-range chickens and our herding dog Jule. There is a bookable sauna and a small swimming pool. Seating area with fireplace in the garden free of charge. Cost for sauna is an additional €15 per sauna session for 2 people only by arrangement on site. Walking with the horses can also be booked.

Jean Des Houx is ideally located 840 meters above sea level in the heart of the Vosges forest, isolated from all neighbors, for optimal calm. The cottage is surrounded by a lot of nature and a beautiful lake with weeping willows. The A-frame house offers plenty of privacy with 2 hectares of garden. The lake house has a bright living room, kitchen, bathroom with shower and bedroom. Our two Scottish Highland cattle are behind our cottage and are a real highlight. There are also many birds, hedgehogs and rabbits in the garden. A BBQ is available on the terrace excl. gas bottle.
