What a lovely surprise, spacious, clean and a great location to get to the Black Mountains.

Had a wonderful stay at the Barn Loft with our 2 dogs. The view from the farm was stunning. Such a beautiful, peaceful and remote place to escape to from a busy life. So impressive by the eco friendly products and sustainable way of maintaining the place. Hugh has been also very helpful and responsive. Great experience!

We had a peaceful few days in this lovely annex. It was very clean and homely and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to others and would happily return. Entrance hallway into a kitchen with dining table and a small lounge area. Bedroom and bathroom upstairs with a comfortable bed, great shower in spacious bathroom. Walkable down the hill into Brecon, about a mile away. Many lovely walks in the area. We did the Dragons Back Circular and the Fen Fawr routes which were both stunning.

We stayed at Susan’s place to give us easy access to Mountain Bike Wales - it was a 10 min drive and a great place to collapse cook clean up and relax after a days riding ! Thanks Susan will look to book in next time we are up 🙏

Ros communicated with us straight awat with a very thourough description of how to get to her place. She included bus details, which was very helpful although we didn't need to make use of it. Very kindly and generously there were some breakfast items available as were milk, butter, coffee and tea. It was a delightful complete apartment with its own lovely little garden, we had a great time!

Sara was welcoming , friendly and helpful. Great communication. The parking spot in front of Sara's garage was helpful. Accommodation matched what was listed on site, which was clean and equiped well. Sara added little treats which was thoughtful. The train station was about a 15 mins walk away which was really handy and hassle free for our needs to travel into Cardiff. Highly recommend. Thank you Sara.

I would highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a peaceful getaway! It had lovely views from the lounge. The place was clean and tidy with everything you would need to enjoy a peaceful weekend. There were board games available and DVDs if you wanted to watch anything. The tv is a smart tv which is also useful. The hosts gave clear instructions and lots of recommendations before arriving. I would definitely return!

We got lost about 100 yards from Barbara's house (Google Maps sat nav took us to the wrong address!), so we rang Barbara. She answered straightaway and, over the phone, she talked us through the last bit of the journey, and there she was, waiting for us outside the house! We loved the house, and felt home from home. We were only there overnight in order to visit our brother, and it was just what we needed. Barbara had left out for us some lovely Welsh Cakes, and there was milk in the fridge, both of which were very welcome. Barbara is very helpful and welcoming. We would definitely consider staying again.

One of the best stays we have had! Lovely touches like pint milk, bottle cider, biscuits etc upon arrival and even heating on and hot tub at the ready! Friendly host with local recommendations, waterfall walks definitely worth a visit. Plenty of towels, kitchen utensils available…. Everything clean and tidy, cute place to stay with stunning views across the countryside and perfect location for peace and quiet and great walks nearby. SO worth a visit

We had an amazing stay. The place was absolutely sparkling clean. Lesley was incredibly attentive, making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

Don't think Airbnb, think 5 Star boutique hotel style suite. Immaculate, beautifully designed interior of the highest standard. A real delight to stay in. The photos don't do it justice. Lots of thoughtful touches throughout to ensure that your stay is a fantastic one. Jeff is super friendly and very helpful, the annex is below his living space but feels very private. A great base to explore all that the area has to offer and then return to a cosy space with comfortable settees to relax, a reliable hot shower, and sumptuous bed to sleep in. Not to mention stunning views and birds in the trees to watch along with the gorgeous ducks in part of the garden. Don't hesitate to book. You won't be disappointed! We wished we could have stayed longer.

We have family that live in the village & have driven past Llanharan House numerous times. It’s not often you get to actually stay in such a notable building. It really was like stepping into a past century. The accommodation is absolutely steeped in history & you can just imagine the servants going about their daily tasks for a busy household. Even though the building is so old it has modern amenities & Nic has kitted it out sympathetically to 21st living while still maintaining the character of the property. The kids had an absolute blast “ghost hunting” around the very spacious living quarters. Kept them amused for hours. Although this venue was more on the expensive side compared to some others locally it is worth every penny & we would return in a heartbeat. Just one tip - if like me, you suffer from cold feet. Take some slippers as the original flooring (kitchen & halls) can be a tad chilly underfoot.

Mac and Jan’s place is more than the pictures it’s truly a fantastic guest suite, done to a really high standard you feel right at home. Mac and Jan provide a great welcome, but privacy to enjoy their place, it’s a great location to explore from but a joy to come back to, comfortable and well equip, would recommend!

Delightful. We thoroughly enjoyed our one night stay. The annex was well equipped, spotless, warm and comfortable. Jan was there on arrival to welcome us and show us what we needed to know. This place was perfect, welcoming for our dogs, perfect location to the nature reserve and the most stunning beach, as well as easy walkable to the local pub, which serves great food and drinks. We were two friends staying, so it worked wonderfully with twin beds. Lovely little kitchen, had everything you need, lovely to have space to relax in the lounge. Two toilets are always great, and a nice little en-suite. We'll go back for sure, not only for the friendly welcome, but for the location for walks/pubs. Thanks Eleri.

First time for us at Pete’s place but it definitely won’t be the last! It’s a perfect base for Bikepark wales, you can easily ride there and avoid the faff of parking (means you can have a beer or two in the cafe afterward too). The accommodation is simple but has everything you could want including a very secure bike lockup, nice big shower and tv for chilling out in the evening. Pete is a great host, very friendly, welcoming and helpful. He provided breakfast and we were able to order in pizza to the pub which we ate in front of the log burner. Spot on! Thanks Pete, see you again soon!

Brian is a lovely host, very accommodating, always at the end of the phone if you need anything, I was in Cardiff for the Rugby so I new Cardiff area, however Brian would give you any advise if you wanted to visit other locations. The Beach Hut is lovely very clean, your own shower room and toilet, location is great just a short walk (5 Mins) to Fairwater to catch the bus into Cardiff, the Train station was nearby too, but the Bus stop was nearer which took you straight into Cardiff town Centre. Would definitely stay here again and Highly Recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend at Loula's apartment. She got in touch with us ahead of the time to give clear instructions, and the apartment was easy to find and very welcoming. It was a perfect base for our weekend in Wales, a very easy walk into Abergavenny (which we explored on our first day), and within driving distance of Cardiff (where we spent our second day). We used the kitchen to cook up some lovely meals from local produce we picked up in Abergavenny, and found everything we needed there. We would happily return in the future.

Our stay with Helen was perfect. The room was exactly what we needed and communication was great. No complaints and would definitely stay again.
