Formally a fortified castle “Fort de La Bastide “ was constructed on the site of a Roman military station. The earliest historical mention is 1417 and it's long history includes an invasion in 1584 by Protestants during the period of the Huguenot wars. The fort has maintained many original features including the old stone staircase at the front door leading up to a 4 bedroomed loft apartment . There is full access to the large garden including an 10mx4m in-ground heated swimming pool .

This 56 m2 suite, giving access to a private terrace of more than 15 m2 overlooking a pond, combines contemporary style and the character of old stonework. A large unoverlooked glass area will allow you to feel at one with nature. Guests can relax by the pyramid fireplace (lit from October to the end of April) as well as in the suite's private spa (jacuzzi). Breakfast will be offered with a sweet or savory option according to your preferences.

The small chalet is 10 meters from the house, it includes: 1 double bed, 1 bathroom with shower, toilet, sink, 1 terrace.

Really calm estate with parking places and closed by a gate with an access code. It is near to "Eurexpo", a place where trade fairs and exhibitions are held. There is a castle, restaurants and small shops nearby, only a 5-minute walk from the house. The shopping centre is a 10-minute car or tram ride, with many shops and a large supermarket.

The room is very quiet as it overlooks an inner courtyard with garden. Private bathroom and toilet. The apartment is conveniently located for visiting Lyon on foot, Tram T1 is a 2-minute walk away. We welcome you to our newly renovated home in Saint-Savin, located 15 minutes from Bourgoin-Jallieu. We offer for rent a 20 m2 room with a shower room and a separate toilet. The entrance is private. We have installed a lockbox to make access to the accommodation easier, the code will be communicated to you on the same day.
