Monthly Rentals in Richmond

While building a house, we were in a pinch and needed a local place to stay for about a month. Justin’s place was ready to go and became our home away from home. It was so easy to slip right into familiarity during our stay. It was hard to leave! The hosts were beyond generous and incredibly responsive. We had an issue getting into the door for the first time but figured it out and when we mentioned the issue, the hosts offered cell phones and said to call if we ever had any questions or issues again and went above and beyond to ensure we had all the amenities (and bonuses!) for our long stay. We had terrible winter weather during our stay but the walkway was cleared for us. It would have been great to walk to some of the downtown restaurants but the snow cover and ice on sidewalks made walking impossible. Also, during winter storms, parking can be a bit tight to make room for plow trucks. We squeezed in tight to ensure we wouldn’t get hit by a passing plow.

Wonderful location! The town is like a postcard with friendly people and everything walkable, and Sumner’s little hideaway is a perfect HQ. The host is exceedingly gracious and responsive, and the unit has some great quirks and surprises. (You’ll have to book it to discover them!) Wouls definitely stay here again and we’re already thinking about our next visit. Easily a five star experience.

Out stay here was unbelievable! We could not be more happy with out accommodation of the ease of the experience. Marcia was a wonderful host. She made check-in easy and quick, and was very responsive. The welcoming packet was clear, concise, and outlined expectations. She also provided plenty of local restaurant menus in the local area, and a plethora of local attractions that made our stay even more enjoyable. The apartment was very comfortable and functional, allowing for plenty of storage and amenities for cooking. The neighborhood, while walkable, was very quiet and cozy. This was perfect for out quiet getaway. We will definitely be booking here again!

I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable place to stay. It was my son’s wedding and I loved being able to come back from the activities to rest and relax . It was very homey.
