A very decent place to stay for a class I was on in the neighborhood. The place was easy to find and was in a quiet location with a lovely view. All communication was quick and informative. 😊

I met a very friendly host and her son who was both very welcoming. I was lucky enough to be offered good Christmas food as well.🙂

We had a very nice stay. It was quite spontaneous but the communication with the host was always quick and helpful. The house was big and quiet. The Host is very kind and even though there are shared areas, we had the bathroom to ourselves and it was possible for us to have a quiet evening. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is traveling through this area and wants a quiet stay.

John's communication was exceptional, fast response with messages. Really helpful during the stay and recommended some walks in the woods. Lovely house and surrounding area, hot tub was great on cold evenings. All bedrooms were lovely, nice and warm with an open fire and log burner kept the house nice and warm. 100% would stay here again, it was perfect for 2 families.

We had a really nice and cosy experience. The cabin lies on the top of the hill and it gets all day sun. It is well equiped, clean and with a modern sauna. The owner was really friendly and she put on the heating, lit up the candles and setup the music before we arrived 😊

Very cool experience in the middle of nowhere, perfect for enjoying the nature and the calmness. Nice forest around, we enjoyed the night view and the fogs in the morning:)

Most amazing old wood house with lots of history in a most beautiful setting. The view of the lake is incredible. The house is completely off-grid in a nature reserve surrounded by a forest in an isolated wonderfully peaceful setting. It's a bit of a walk from the car park which makes it even more special. We really enjoyed our stay here with our small kids. Coming from London, chopping wood, heating up the sauna, lighting candles, fetching water, etc. was an absolutely wonderful experience. I loved every moment of it. The sauna was a cherry on top and will be the most missed. Lying in a snow after the heat with drops of snow falling from the night sky only with the forest surrounding you is something the words can't describe. I'm sure one day we will come back again. Thank you Per for sharing this opportunity with people like us. We felt very privileged.

We had a very pleasant christmas holiday at Jarle's in 2024. He provided us with a tree and decorations and all other items we requested. There were cross country skiis for most of us. We were 7 adults, and four children under 10. We had more than enough room for everyone. The kitchen was well supplied. Some of us liked the sauna, but I especially liked the fire pan outside. All in all a great place for a family gathering.

Very nice place! Clean and tidy, plenty of space and excellent skiing trails nearby. We would love to come again! We had zero issues with our stay.

It is a lovely cabin and we enjoyed our time in the snow very much.
