We had an excellent time! The listing emphasizes how rustic it is, but with the wood stove going we felt comfortable and right at home! It's a peaceful, secluded location, yet has Bode's General Store only 10 or so minutes away so you can always grab something you need. Their dog was super sweet and even came to say hi to us. A great trip and we hope to come back again!

This property is a true gem. My family enjoyed our winter stay. The home is perfect for the location, all the modern comforts with no fuss to distract from the natural beauty. You can tell the care that went in to designing this home. Each window perfectly frames a new angle of the landscape beyond. Gordon was the perfect host; just the right amount of communication to put me at ease. We were able to completely unwind and relax in absolute solitude. That’s what I will remember most from our stay - the absolutely life-changing solitude surrounded by breathtakingly beautiful views. At this property, you feel like you are sitting at the edge of the world, with no signs of civilization in nearly any direction. We will definitely look for an opening to return! We loved our stay. The home is cozy and comfortable all around and has everything one could need. It's beautifully located with views all around, and is very quiet and private. We greatly appreciated the flexibility of check-in and check-out times.

Mike and Lori's tree house is a peaceful and comfortable retreat. The home and property are lovingly cared for. We had all the necessities and appreciated all of the thoughtful lighting and artwork. The sauna is great and easy to use. It's a beautiful, quiet space. Exactly what we were looking for. We look forward to a return visit.
